What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We believe that A Webbing Journey is best developed alongside our community, allowing us to refine and expand the game based on your feedback. The game already delivers a fun and creative sandbox experience, where players can swing, build webs, and complete tasks in a cozy, interactive home.

However, we have so many exciting ideas for new content, and Early Access gives us the opportunity to improve mechanics and features and fine-tune the levels based on real player experiences. Your feedback will help shape A Webbing Journey into the best version it can be!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to remain in Early Access for at least a year, but this timeline is flexible. Our priority is to ensure the game reaches its full potential before we move to a full release.

Throughout Early Access, we plan to add new rooms, tasks, customization options, and other features while improving performance and polishing the overall experience.

Depending on the development progress and community feedback, we may extend Early Access or adjust our roadmap to include additional features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of A Webbing Journey aims to include:
  • More rooms & interactive environments – Expanding the house with new areas and fun tasks.
  • More customization – Additional hats, accessories, and web texture options.
  • New challenges & game modes – Introducing more creative and physics-based tasks.
  • Expanded story elements – Enhancing world-building and character interactions.
  • Maybe even a Multiplayer mode – Play with friends, build webs together, and create even more chaos.
While the Early Access version already offers a solid sandbox experience, we aim to bring even more depth, variety, and polish to the game’s full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core mechanics of A Webbing Journey are fully functional, including:
  • Web swinging & climbing mechanics – Smooth and responsive traversal.
  • 3 interactive rooms (kitchen, office, and kids’ room) – Each room has unique tasks and physics-based interactions like cooking, cleaning, 3d printing, races, puzzle solving, building plushies, and much more.
  • Customizable spider – Hats, shoes, fluff levels, and web colors.
  • Physics-based sandbox fun – Interact with hundreds of objects and build anything you imagine.
  • Story mode - Travel from room to room and finish your task list to unlock new cosmetic items.
  • Creative Mode - Jump into any of the existing rooms and some old island levels and do whatever you want while having full access to the debug console to modify the game.
The game is fully playable and fun, but there’s still room for more content, optimizations, and refinements as we work toward 1.0!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will increase when the full version is released.

We want to reward our early supporters by offering a lower price during Early Access as a thank-you for helping us shape the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We believe A Webbing Journey should grow with its community, and we actively engage with players in multiple ways:
  • Discord Server – Direct discussions, polls, and sneak peeks of upcoming features.
  • Steam Discussions & Feedback Forms – Collecting player ideas, bug reports, and suggestions.
  • Social Media Engagement – We regularly post updates, feature community creations, and respond to feedback.
  • Playtests & Iterative Updates – Testing new mechanics and adjusting them based on player input.
We love seeing your ideas, creativity, and enthusiasm—so keep them coming! Your input will directly shape the game as we continue development.

Thank you for swinging along on this journey with us!”

About This Game

WELCOME TO THE HOUSE  🏠

You're a tiny spider in a big home. Climb anything, swing everywhere, and weave webs across entire rooms. The humans are out. Now it's your time to get to work.

Every surface is yours to explore: walls, ceilings, furniture, even the aquarium. The house is enormous from Silky's perspective, and every room is packed with objects to interact with, secrets to uncover, and plenty of opportunities to make a beautiful mess.

BECOME A WEB DESIGNER  🕸️

Stretch your webs from wall to wall, lift objects, build bridges, and create structures nobody asked for. Your webs, your rules.

Whether you build a carefully engineered web to transport objects across the room or fling your webs at everything in sight, the physics system responds to every decision you make. Connect objects, drag them across the floor, suspend them from the ceiling, and use your webs to swing yourself to new heights.

CHORES HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS FUN  🧼

The humans are out fighting the mysterious mortgage. Now it's time for Silky and the Web Scrubbers to pick up the slack, tackle chores, solve mysteries, and make the house their own. One web at a time.

Each room is home to a cast of new spiders with their own personalities, tasks, and problems that need solving. Cook breakfast, fix the aquarium, chase down runaway balloons, or help Vera crack the case of the mysterious Prof. Quack.

No two quests are the same, and most of them can be solved in more than one way.

EXPERIENCE LIFE AS A SPIDER  🕷️

  • Climb any surface, even upside down and underwater

  • Build intricate web structures across entire rooms

  • Swing freely with precise, responsive web mechanics

  • Interact with hundreds of physics-based objects

  • Customise Silky with hats, shoes, and various levels of fluffiness

  • And cause as much chaos as you want
