Why Early Access?

“Bounty: Drag Racing is a passion project that I have been working on for over two years. The inspiration for it is the lack of a proper and realistic sim. Drag Racing fans and their feedback are instrumental to the development moving forward of Bounty: Drag Racing. Early Access will allow the community to have a direct impact on the direction of the game, having the opinion about if development time should be mostly directed to adding vehicles, environments, or features, while also helping fund the development of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is planned for a full release date in 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Several additions are planned for the full release; more vehicles, more race tracks, more engine types, more features that affect the physics in a more realistic way, and better game balancing based on user feedback. The order in which these features would be released depends on how users value these additions, some may not be added in favor of others.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently in Beta, it includes all of the features mentioned in the About This section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase when the game transitions from Early Access to a full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be crucial for the development of the game. Players can contact me directly on social media or via email with feedback for features, game balance issues, and content suggestions for future updates. The game has several areas that players may want the development to focus towards; Physics, Cars, Tracks, Engines, or Features. Player feedback will weigh highly on which of these areas will be expanded upon with the most priority.”
