About This Game

In 1980, NASA spots undisclosed Soviet activity on Mars. As the Cold War looms over the world, the U.S. rapidly prepares for sending a crew there to investigate. They finally leave in 1983, and arrive on the surface in 1984.

One member of the team, Anna, gets separated from her team, and stumbles upon an alien environment, which is presumably the reason for the Soviet presence. Having no way out, she has to solve the series of puzzles that leads her deeper and deeper into the facility. As events unfold, she finds herself in a situation that's much darker and more dangerous than it originally seemed.

Physics-Driven Magnetism

Polars is driven by polarities and physics-simulated magnets in a semi-sandbox environment. No snapping rules, no movement limitations, just you, an exit, and a diverse range of game elements that help you or stand in your way.

Overarching Story

Shape the end of this atmospheric story with the choices you make and secrets you discover throughout your journey into the unknown.
