Why Early Access?

“GHOSTWARE is developed by a small (Daev) team. It is planned to be released episodically while improving and evolving the core game through player feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“From six to eighteen months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release of GHOSTWARE will include more enemies, bossfights and episodes, and various other gameplay elements that have not been inlcuded in the first episode yet. It will also include new maps and possibly gamemodes for the Arcade.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Ealry Access version includes Episode 1 and Episode 2, featuring:

-20+ maps between main and secret levels (most of them can be revisited to hunt for extra items)
-13 weapons between Virtualspace and Realspace arsenal
-12 enemy types
-8 power-ups between primary and secondary abilities

-custom matches against bots
-full customization of skill level/rules/time limit/etc.

About This Game





Imagine – what if necromancy and magic spells were no different than writing some lines of code? In GHOSTWARE you’ll play as Molly, brought back to life and trapped inside of an arena shooter along with five other souls. But there is something inherently wrong with the world created by the mysterious Wizard.



The world of GHOSTWARE is a mixture of hectic retro-fps action and slower pace of the adventure games. One minute you’ll be rocket-jumping through arenas, and next you’ll try to uncover the mystery behind this decaying simulation and its connections to the real world. Apart from the plot-heavy campaign mode you’ll get your chance to dive into the instant action of Arcade Mode and exclusive maps only for this mode.



You’ll start within familiar grounds: deathmatch or CTF, but soon you’ll be fighting for your life in a decaying world along some colorful characters and extremely lore-heavy plot. Strap yourselves in and dive into the madness of the Arena of the Dead.
