Why Early Access?

“This game is in prototype stages. Due to time constraints, it is important to ship some kind of game early while it is still early enough to make any changes needed to make the game better for everyone.

We want to take a different track from our first game, Seditionis Tower Defense, as this game is intended to be our "flagship" product for years to come.

Our first game was intended to be multiplayer but due to a lack of technical expertise with Unity3d, the game is a fraction of what it could have been. We want this game to be different.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“At least 1 or 2 years, maybe longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We wish to add:

1. A battle royale system with a queue.
2. Make changes to the current game modes of conquest, rush, deathmatches, capture the flag, and other modes. We want to try and see if we can make it a little more innovative or more.
3. A stamina system that is affected by your actions and taking weapon damage.
4. A class and skill system.
5. Other game modes, however, we have to see how large the game space will be in terms of hard drive space.
6. A unified progression system of some sort with a light and casual mmorpg component (ie. building a base like in this city builder strategy games). We are NOT sure about #6.
7. Obviously we will make the graphics better as we have access to great model creators right now and when the game is released we can spend some time learning environment graphics design.
8. An in game "ascension" mechanic during game modes where the "top" player becomes the "Lead Crutarch" for your whole team, making you THE objective to protect or destroy. Lead your team to victory or fall to the enemy Crutarch! Do you have what it takes to lead?
9. More weekly or rotational gamemodes for special occasions ie. a "Faction Royale" or "Vehicle Royale".
10. Vehicle combat maps and game modes.
11. Probably more but there's already a lot on our plate.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now basic character, weapon, and skin models are present. AI bots are using the default unreal engine mannequin.

Game modes are rush, deathmatch, conquest, team death match, ctf capture the flag, and kill confirmed (assassinate the vip).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, this game will always be free to play with a microtransaction skin/cash shop. We will mostly follow the same model as csgo, dota, league of legends, and fortnite. We prefer not to add "lootbox" mechanics.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll be utilizing the steam forums, the website forum (when the community grows enough) and the live streams from our youtube channels https://youtube.com/dragonflarestudios.

The live stream interaction while the devs code the game is the best time to ask questions or make suggestions or ask about general life problems.”

About This Game

Seditionis: Crutarch Royale is the second game in the Seditionis Franchise from Dragonflare Studios LLC.

In a brutal and dystopian galaxy far into the future, you are a super marine enhanced with implants and psionics. A galactic rebellion has taken place between Nationalists and Imperials.

As a Crutarch, you are an ascended like super being that fights on behalf of truth or lies. Crutarchs are immortal.

Current game modes in the game include:

1. A conquest mode where 3 points are available for capture. Max players of 32 in 16vs16 team combat.
2. A Team deathmatch and solo deathmatch mode where top team or top player wins the round.
3. A rush mode where the attacking team must bomb multiple objectives while the defending team must defend them and reduce the attacking team's
reinforcements to zero to win.
4. A test vehicle map mode for future release of vehicle combat. The vehicle map is set to rules similar to conquest.
5. Classic capture the flag mode where the team that captures the most flags wins.
6. A kill confirmed mode where you must take the dogtags of dead enemies to collect points and deny the enemy from taking your team's dogtags. Highest score wins.

Players can also play in single player or host their own multiplayer games.

Choose between 4 classes and weapon loadouts including:

1. Assault, medic, support, and scout classes. Each class can hold a differing amount of max ammo depending on their role (ie. Scouts can hold a lot of sniper ammo but not a lot of assault rifle ammo).
2. Different perks that slightly enhance your playstyle (ie. more grenades or drop claymore mines).
3. Choose a different primary weapon. Currently all classes can choose every primary.

The developers describe the content like this:

Animated violence with guns, rockets, explosions, grenades, and blood splatters on hit. Future content updates may contain profanity, mild sexual suggestive themes, politics, Christianity, anti-Christianity, demons, fear, "fud", political issues, displays of anger, fear, and hatred.

Online gaming experience may change with interaction with other people.
