What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This project is still actively evolving, and Early Access allows us to develop it together with the community. Player feedback plays a crucial role in helping us improve gameplay systems, balance progression, refine combat and AI behavior, and expand the overall experience.

Early Access gives us the opportunity to test features in real-world scenarios, identify issues more quickly, and prioritize the content and improvements that matter most to players.

Our goal is to build a polished, long-term multiplayer experience that grows through continuous development and community involvement.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Wir planen, das Spiel ungefähr 12 bis 24 Monate im Early Access zu halten. Dieser Zeitraum kann sich je nach Feedback der Community und dem Fortschritt der Entwicklung ändern. Unser Ziel ist es, die Zeit im Early Access zu nutzen, um Inhalte zu erweitern, bestehende Systeme zu verbessern, Fehler zu beheben und das Spielerlebnis kontinuierlich zu optimieren, bevor die Vollversion veröffentlicht wird.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is expected to provide a more complete and refined experience than the current Early Access version. Throughout development, we intend to expand gameplay systems, improve balancing, enhance AI behavior, introduce additional content, and further polish the overall experience.

We also plan to continue improving performance, stability, user interface elements, progression systems, and world-building features based on community feedback and ongoing testing. As development progresses, features may evolve, change, or be replaced as we work toward delivering the best possible experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version provides the foundation of the core gameplay experience. Players can explore the world, gather resources, interact with the environment, and experience the game's primary progression and survival mechanics.

Many systems are already functional and actively being expanded and refined. However, content, balancing, optimization, user interface improvements, additional gameplay features, and overall polish are still in active development. Community feedback will play an important role in shaping future updates and helping prioritize improvements throughout the Early Access period.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as development progresses and additional content, features, and improvements are added to the game. Players who join during Early Access will have the opportunity to support development early and gain access to the game at a lower price than may be offered at full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is an important part of our development process. We plan to actively gather feedback through Steam discussions, Discord, social media, and in-game experiences to better understand what players enjoy and where improvements are needed.

Player suggestions, bug reports, balancing feedback, and general discussions will help us prioritize updates and guide future development decisions. While not every suggestion can be implemented, we want the community to play an active role in helping shape the direction of the game throughout Early Access.”

About This Game

DeepSalvage sends you and your crew into abandoned underground facilities where every corridor looks like work and still feels wrong. Accept terminal work orders, locate valuable cargo, move heavy salvage back to extraction, and get out with enough value before the site turns against you.

Nothing below is simply quiet. Scanners return unstable signals, terminals unlock routes or expose old dangers, rooms shift between weak light and total darkness, and some objects only pretend to be loot.

Solo runs are possible, but DeepSalvage is built around co-op pressure: one player scans, one carries, one keeps the route clear, and someone has to decide when the team has pushed far enough. Greed is usually the moment the run starts falling apart.

Features:

- 1-4 player co-op extraction horror

- Terminal work orders with shifting salvage objectives

- Physical transport for light and heavy cargo

- Scanner tools, sonar terminals, and creature archives

- Dark rooms, variable light zones, and sanity pressure

- Threats such as Mimics, Whisperers, and Lurkers

- No safe run, no perfect information, only decisions under pressure
