Why Early Access?

“We plan to use Early Access to collect player input on pacing, difficulty, level length and overall scope to steer our further development and to incorporate feedback and ideas from the community. While core gameplay and significant content is finished and available, we have open questions concerning pacing, level length, difficulty and complexity that we hope to involve our players in answering.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for approximately one year. Since the scope of the full release version may change based on player feedback, this period may extend somewhat.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version features 8 fully built levels for players to experience as well as the cutscenes that accompany them. Our current plan for the full version is around 60 levels - many of these are already in advanced stages internally. Depending on player feedback regarding length, pacing and difficulty, we may end up reducing the number of levels per chapter by tightening and combining existing and upcoming levels. Like the existing levels, new stages will feature new puzzle mechanics, cutscenes and NPC characters.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes all playable characters and their abilities, 8 levels with diverse puzzle elements and cutscenes that tie them together.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently have no plans to change the price after the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to engage players via our official channels such as the Steam Discussion Forums, Social Media and Discord. Player feedback on topics such as level pacing, overall length, difficulty, roadblocks and bottlenecks as well as general design of puzzles and platforming will help us refine the existing content and steer the development of the remaining levels.”

About This Game

In Tiny Vikings: Journey to Asgard, Loki has cursed your village, turning all the adults into otters. With the grown-ups out of action, it’s up to the kids to break the spell and cause a little trouble along the way.

Their plan is to sail beyond the edge of the world, reach Asgard, and ask the gods for help. The adults probably wouldn’t approve. Luckily, they’re otters.

Six kids, six ways to cause trouble

Each kid has unique abilities and limitations. Switch between them and pick the right Viking to get past whatever stands in your way.

Put your heads together

Combine the kids’ skills to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles that no single Viking could tackle alone.

Mix it up in battle

Bash enemies with a wooden sword, fire stones from a slingshot, or set their clothes alight. Mix the kids’ abilities to give your foes more than they bargained for.

Extreme Vikingery!

They may be small, but these kids know how to make a mess. Leave a trail of mischief and mayhem wherever your adventure takes you.
