Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«We plan to use Early Access to collect player input on pacing, difficulty, level length and overall scope to steer our further development and to incorporate feedback and ideas from the community. While core gameplay and significant content is finished and available, we have open questions concerning pacing, level length, difficulty and complexity that we hope to involve our players in answering.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«We plan to stay in Early Access for approximately one year. Since the scope of the full release version may change based on player feedback, this period may extend somewhat.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The Early Access version features 15 fully built levels for players to experience as well as the cutscenes that accompany them. Our current plan for the full version is around 60 levels - many of these are already in advanced stages internally. Depending on player feedback regarding length, pacing and difficulty, we may end up reducing the number of levels per chapter by tightening and combining existing and upcoming levels. Like the existing levels, new stages will feature new puzzle mechanics, cutscenes and NPC characters.»

«The Early Access version includes all playable characters and their abilities, 15 levels with diverse puzzle elements and cutscenes that tie them together.»

«We plan to engage players via our official channels such as the Steam Discussion Forums, Social Media and Discord. Player feedback on topics such as level pacing, overall length, difficulty, roadblocks and bottlenecks as well as general design of puzzles and platforming will help us refine the existing content and steer the development of the remaining levels.»

Om spillet

The evil god Loki has tricked all the adults of the village and magically turned them into otters. To break the spell, the children must sail across the ocean, venture beyond the edge of the world, and reach Asgard, the realm of the gods, to ask the gods for help. But the journey is challenging and when the children reach Asgard, everything turns out very quite differently than planned...

The game is played from a top-down perspective. The player plays as one of the viking kids and can switch between characters and any time. Every child has a special ability that they can apply in difficult situations. Finnvid can put things on fire, Tok is strong enough to lift heavy objects, Tonna has a slingshot, and Biorn is particularly good at beating up other children with his wooden sword. But every child also has certain limitations. Tok, for example, is so heavy that he cannot walk on ice or the ice will break. In the game the player must skillfully use and combine the respective skills of the different children in order to overcome obstacles and master tricky situations. And in typical Viking fashion, the kids always leave a trail of mayhem and chaos wherever they go...
