What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are an indie game studio trying to serve the best games for our players. Therefore we will love to hear from our community while we're on the way of development for perfection. Early Access is the best way to recieve feedback and make our community join our development cycle.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The feedback that we recieved from our community will set our early game phase duration. But in our current situation we're planning to stay in early access for one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We're planning to add more content and storyline to our game. Beside this content the most important thing for us is to make every mechanics and animations work perfectly without any bugs and glitches. In full release we will finish our questline with many different quests, add a new city to our map, better optimization, new trading methods and if we can achieve gladiator fights.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“One big city and 2 villages are already finished. We have a big open world ready to test your skills and open for exploration. We are preparing a decent questline. Currently %20 of the questline is ready for playing. You can find every interesting details of the Ephesus which we built historically accurate.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to slightly raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're currently checking Steam feedbacks and our comment section. We’re also following Reddit in this process. Later we're planning to activate our Discord server to level up our connection with our community.”

About This Game

"It is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness." - Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Ephesus is an ancient roman city which is located in aegean coast of Turkey. This city was one of the most glorious city of Roman Empire at the times. In Ephesus's massive open world you will explore the whole grandeur of this rich city as if you were walking down on it's streets. While you're chasing the quest line, trading, gathering or building you will see the real coverings of the Ephesus. Main goal of the game is that it will let you experience the Citizen of Ephesus's daily life while you're exploring this open world and surviving on it.

In Ephesus you will take on the role of Hector Remus at the 100 BC. Hector is a passionate young man with great dreams and dedication. You will try to set up your own path through this journey. You need to gather resources for hunting, crafting, building and you need to check your vital signs to stay alive.

This game is not going to force you to follow the questline. If you want you can just hunt, build and explore the map designed to surprise you. You can be a great trader or a farmer who makes more money that no one has ever done.
