『Tempest Rising』では、クラシックなRTSとアクションが、現代的な演出やパフォーマンスと融合する。1990年代や2000年代のRTSの名作にインスパイアされた『Tempest Rising』は、架空の歴史上における現代戦を舞台にした、クラシックな基地建設リアルタイムストラテジーゲームだ。3つの独特な勢力はそれぞれが戦闘と経済に独自のアプローチを備え、あらゆる種類のプレイヤーに様々な戦略を提供する。マップには争奪戦の対象となる中立施設と、攻略の対象となる中立の人々がいて、深く手応えのあるゲームプレイでは戦略に焦点を当てる一方、獲得しがいのあるスキルや、シングルプレイヤー、マルチプレイヤーの両方のモードに、好きな方法でゲームを進められるビルトインのカスタマイズオプションも搭載。
