What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Vertigo Rush is already fully playable, but we want to involve the community while we continue expanding and refining the game. Early Access allows us to gather feedback on movement, comfort, balancing, multiplayer and progression, while adding new content and improving the overall experience.

We believe player feedback is especially valuable for a VR game built around a unique, physical locomotion system.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Vertigo Rush to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This may change depending on player feedback and the development of the additional content we have planned. Our priority is to reach the full release when we feel the game is polished, balanced and complete enough to meet our goals.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Vertigo Rush with additional tracks, game modes, progression, customization options and new content. We also intend to continue improving multiplayer, balancing, comfort options and the overall presentation based on community feedback.

The full version is intended to offer a larger and more polished experience while keeping the fast, physical VR racing at the core of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and already includes multiple tracks and several ways to race, including Time Trials, races against AI, Cup Series and online multiplayer with friends.

The core locomotion, racing mechanics and multiplayer systems are already in place. During Early Access we will continue polishing these systems, improving balancing and performance, and expanding the game with additional content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price when Vertigo Rush leaves Early Access to reflect the additional content, features and improvements added during development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community by listening closely to player feedback through Steam discussions, social media and other community channels. During Early Access, community feedback will help us identify the most important areas to improve, including gameplay balance, comfort options, multiplayer features and overall polish.

We want players to help us shape the direction of Vertigo Rush as we continue expanding and refining the experience.”
