“We need feedback from players not what our team thinks is fun.
Need feedback on play loop, feature set, and usablilty.
Feedback from a commited buyer of game has more weight than steam free key collectors we encountered.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Will be in early access until we get needed feedback and solve customers concerns.
Time is based on player feedback on is this a finished game not a hard milestone date.
We expect 4 months in early access for a final release of 1st Q 2022.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Add more game modes. We don't want to waste time building unused features.
We will make suggestions of features and game modes and get feedback from early adopters.
Add more maps based on new game modes.
Don't see the 2D GUI getting much better. 3D stations are not in our design concept.
We are undecided to add back into game voice OR players responsibility for voice between team members.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Training servers for Five Inch Guns and Depth Charges work as designed.
Our match servers are playable to victory conditions.
We are NOT sure about reliability of matches with largest numbers of players like 24 per server.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As more features, modes, and maps are added during EA, we see a slight bump in full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback will be from steam community forums. Will have discussion categories for major divisions of feedback. Discord for comms between players for organizing matches and coaching.”

About This Game

Game Play

Work as a team launching weapons, reading sensors, and repairing your ship. The Captain will pilot and manage operations. Crew will spend their time at stations reading sensors, flipping switches, adjusting knobs and repairing equipment. You must find the enemy using sensors and optics. Fog of War will develop as contacts are lost and ship management tasks become chaotic.

Assets
The Destroyer is first ship in Assets series. Our Submarine will be the second. The Submarine is in Beta and available to test for purchasers. Each new Asset will accompany game modes that interact with all previous Assets. An Asset will be published as separate DLC. You can play in games without owning all Assets.

Multiplayer
Game is released in a staged rollout of servers. Asia located players should wait for server near them. Will update when new servers are added. USA servers are running Training to learn Destroyer operations. You will be attacking ship and submarine targets and avoiding torpedoes. The Match servers offer Destroyer vs Destroyer games.

A Player can captain a ship alone but it will be challenging to keep up with all duties. We have Crew Bots to fill empty slots when servers are quite. To organize a crew, we have a Discord server for meeting players, voice, and chat during game.

Crew Members
Captain
Owner of the Ship. Has controls to decide who will be in the crew and which battle group to deploy. Unable to operate any specialized stations.

Crew
Able to operate any mechanically inclined station. Able to repair anything at a faster rate. Able to use all stations.
Able to operate all specialized equipment at 100% accuracy.

Pilot ( Currently in Beta testing )
Can fly any type of plane. Has no skills to operate any specialized station.

Game Modes
Harbor Defense - Defend all ships in your harbor while trying to sink oponents.
Harbor Escort - Escort a Very Important Ship (VIS) to opponents harbor.
Rugby - Drag a Rubber Duck to the opponents harbor.
Duck Pond - Drag as many Rubber Ducks as you can back to your harbor. Proposed based on feedback from Players.
Maxwell - Electromagnetic effects. Radar, Jammers, Cloaking, Philly Exp . Proposed based on feedback from Players.
