Why Early Access?

“Fling to the Finish has been a fun experience to share with our friends since we started development four years ago. But, in order to make it the best game it can be, we think now is the time to really start involving the community. We’ll directly use feedback from players to plan where our focus should be when adding new content, features and polish. We want to hear from the players who are just as passionate as us about Fling.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are confident about the current state of the Fling experience. To increase content, features and polish to the next level, we would like to have the game fully realized within 6 to 8 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will contain more levels, game modes, and characters. This new content will almost double the length of the experience we have already created. It will also be a more polished version of the game, with better game feel and a smoother user experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version of the game already delivers a hilarious and engaging experience to any player who picks it up. Fling to the Finish has singleplayer, co-op, splitscreen, up to 4 players locally - 8 players online, random matchmaking with 12 unique levels to race through and 3 gamemodes for each of those levels specifically for singleplayer and co-op players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It is possible that the game price will increase as more content is added. We evaluate the pricing regularly as the game gains features, expands in scope and moves toward the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Along with the Steam forums, our Discord Server is our primary way of keeping in touch with the community with channels dedicated to questions and suggestions. Firstly, we will be on the lookout for what features of the game our players like the most so we can expand and improve the game’s strongest elements. We look forward to talking with players about how we should bring the community together through events and new multiplayer features.”
