About This Content

The Class 156 DMU, also known as a Super Sprinter, was built from 1987 to 1989 by Metro-Cammell as part of the effort to replace the ageing fleet of first-generation DMUs dating back to the 1950s. The Class 156s were all built as two-car sets, each set comprising a pair of driving motor units. Powered by 6-cylinder diesel engines, Super Sprinters are rated to run at 75mph and are used mainly for suburban and short-haul branch line duties. All units have now passed from British Rail ownership into private hands, and are currently in operation with a number of train operators including Scotrail, Northern Rail, East Midlands Trains, and National Express East Anglia.

This is a well thought out train, the sounds are good, there is a destionation bored that you can change in game, and it's fun to drive!
Just one glitch to point out, when I open the doors at the final destonation on quick drive the game crashes. DTG can you fix this?

Avoid like the plauge, possibly the worst DLC I have ever had the displeasure of trying. Just crashes almost instantly, the 156 does include a large verioty of liverys if you want a loco to sit still and do nothing but other wise dosnt work. As soon as I press a button on the hud, move a leaver on the hud or in the cab or press a button on my x-box controll train simulator imiditatly crashes. Hence meaning that I cannot change view, move the loco or open doors. Not pleased.
