About This Game

Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following.

The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game.

The game’s two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.

Product Features
  • Extensive single player: Featuring next generation gameplay and a wildly-engrossing story.
  • Complete two-person co-op: Multiplayer game featuring its own dedicated story, characters, and gameplay.

  • Original music.

  • Editing Tools: Portal 2 editing tools will be included.

I love this game so much. Like, I could play this game every day for the rest of my life because of how much it offers. I would play Co-op with anyone. I've beat this game 5 times and I've speedrunned it. If I can't stress how much I love this game, I want to state that I really love this game.

Ughh until I do a proper review, WHICH I WILL. I can only say that this is truly a masterpeice, and I have no complain about this game. This is in my opinion the example of a perfect game.

I've gifted this game nearly 10 times now. I've made it my tradition to gift Portal 2 to any friend I introduce to steam to, and let me tell you know, each one of them ends up being an loving portal fan.

Buy this game, no questions. It's meta critic of 96 and the most positively review steam game for a reason!

Just get it. Thats all I have to say. It has a great story line and some great mods that are out now and are being made. The game could be played over and over and challenge your friends with challenge mode recording your time and portals for indivual levels. There are some great easter eggs and funny moments. You should play Portal:Staying alive before you play this game, but is not required. Some of the story makes no sense because you havent played the first game. This game has community levels which makes it fun after you have played the whole game over and over. I would defiently get this game in a bundle but Ive got both Portal and Portal 2 on xbox360. It is currently $8.74 for a bundle which is totally worth it.

Portal 2 is a decent first-person puzzle-platform game, developed and published by Valve Corporation, and honestly this game is really... VERY DECENT, and the story is really awesome, but i won't talk about it in my review, i want to let you discover it if you buy it ;)

About the game engine: The game is running on the Source Engine, yes the same engine of Half-Life 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, But Portal 2 run much better then CSGO, so any pc basically can run it without problem.

Positive Thing about this game
- Nice Graphics
- Like i said above the game can run on any pc basically
- The Story is very decent, but you need to use your brain in it since it's a puzzle-platform
- Possibility to play in Coop with one of your friends :)
- We have a real story mode, instead of the first Portal which the story mode can be beat in 2 hours, When portal 2 is 7 hours long, but it's worth it

Bad things about this game

- Nothing i didn't encountered any bugs or found negative thing to say here

To finish

This game is a must have, like i said, the story mode is really awesome, and brain intensive LOL,
So you need a puzzle-platform game ?! GO AHEAD with Portal 2 ;)

Fell off course 3 platform in co-op hub.

GLaDOS immediately booms, "How did you fail? It's not even a test!"

But I really couldn't figure out a way to get down. ._.

Anyways 10/10 great game that still plays well and looks good in 2016, with wonderful dialogue. A must have for your library.
For achievement hunters, I took about 26.2 hrs to get everything, but according to GLaDOS I'm not that bright and I've seen other people take less time.

Had this game for a few years but never wrote a review. I absolutly love this game! The voice acting was amazing and the level design was awesome, and if that wasn't enough content theres a co-op mode! Anyway for anyone not sure if they should buy it, i reccomend doing so!

So far this gaming is amazing.

-Challenging and interesting 3D puzzles which don't really get old (so far)
-Looks great
-Plays great
-Incredible voice acting
-Story seams really good do far
-Online co-op (Haven't tried it yet, so I don't know how good it is)
-Excellent, humorous writing
-Community made maps
-Interesting lore
-Several mods which I have not played, but look interesting
-Little playbale trailer for the films Super 8 (pretty cool; unexpected)
-Builds on the mechanics and lore of the first game
-Unfortunately (so far my only problem with the game) there are some places which have scripted events (pieces of the environment moving, etc.) and the pieces of the world that move have hit boxes which are bigger than the actual object, which restrict your movement somewhat (slightly annoying, but not a major problem at all).

I 100% recommend this game, and also surgest you purchase the first game too, just becuase it makes this one more enjoyable and more cohesive, however it shouldn't take you too long to figure out what's happeing if you are new to the Portal series.

So far 10/11 Leopard print turrets

NOTICE: I seem to believe I got this game on sale, but I think that it will prove to be worth the full price especially with all the extra community-made content that exists.

So far so good! Played it now for just a bit more than an hour, and I just love the fact that all the moving objects and textures, don't create lag! This game is optimized to the max so all I can say, enjoy the ride!
