Omnia Express: April 2017

Hi everyone, welcome aboard this new Omnia Express!!

We want to start with a little focus on the release of Pankapu. Indeed, we recently received a lot of messages asking if the second episode is already out and/or why you can't find it on Steam.

Let's refresh our memory and answer your questions so you don’t feel left apart:

- The 1st episode for PC/Mac and Linux (Steam version) is the only one out for the moment.It's been released since the 21 of September.

- The 2nd episode is expected for this summer. It is at this time that the console version for XboxOne/Ps4 and Switch (don't be made at me Gaben) will arrive.

And of course if you have other questions or any doubts, feel free to contact us (I’m here for you)

Now, about the development part. Like we said before, we aim to release the last episode for this summer. We don’t have an official date for the moment, but it’s our last week of rush and then we will attack the exports of the console versions.

We still must finish the decoration of the levels. Even if they are playable, “gameplay” talking, they must be pretty too ^^

We are just waiting for the last dev kits (Ps4 and Switch, we already have the XboxOne) that should arrive next week, and we will be ready for doing the console versions.

Salut tout le monde, bienvenu à bord de notre nouvelle Omnia Express !!

On a reçu de nombreux messages demandant si les clés avaient déjà été envoyés. On va donc faire un petit point sur la sortie de Pankapu afin d’éclaircir vous doutes et surtout que vous ne vous sentiez pas lésés :

- L’épisode 1 de Pankapu Pc/Mac et Linux (Steam et DRM Free) est le seul de sortie pour le moment. Si c’est la version que vous aviez demandée et que vous ne l’avez pas reçu, laissez un commentaire ici même ou bien envoyez nous un message pour recevoir vos accès.

- Sinon, l’épisode 2 de Pankapu est prévue pour cet été. Pour celles et ceux qui ont demandés une version Ps4/XboxOne et Switch vous recevrez donc le pack complet épisode 1 et 2 à ce moment-là.

Pour finir, si vous voulez changer votre version, il n’est pas encore trop tard. Envoyez-nous un message et nous modifieront la version voulue sur notre doc.

Bien entendu si vous avez des questions ou des doutes, n’hésitez pas à nous contacter (Je suis là pour ça ^^)

Allez maintenant c’est parti pour le point prod. Comme on vous le disait, le jeu est prévu pour cet été. Nous n’avons pas encore de date officielle mais nous arrivons en fin de prod de l’épisode 2. C'est notre dernière semaine de rush, donc c’est pour bientôt hé hé

Il nous reste donc plus qu’à terminer les habillages des levels. Car oui, même s’ils sont jouables "gameplay" parlant, il faut tout de même les décorer ^^

D’ailleurs, un grand merci à Natasha et Julien qui sont venus en renfort pour nous aider sur cette partie.

On finit avec quelques photos du rush de la dernière semaine pour que vous puissiez admirer nos tronches (de dos)…

Maintenant on attend les derniers kits de dev (Ps4 et Switch, on déjà celui XboxOne) qui devraient arriver la semaine prochaine, et on part sur les exports consoles !!!!

Courage donc à Jéremie notre seul dev, qui fera les 3 exports tout seul comme un grand :
"respect et robustesse!!"

Omnia Express

Happy New Year!

So 2016 has ended, and it was a special year for us. It may have been a tricky one at times, but in the end, 2016 will always be the year that Pankapu came to life.
Happy New Year to all of you, thank you for being here and moreover thank you for making our dream come true!
That’s why we want to continue this great adventure with you. In a few months, we’re going to release the second episode of the game, as well as the console versions… 2017 is going to be even more important for us. And we can’t wait to share all these things with you!

New Website!

First things first, you may have noticed our brand new website! If you want to see it…


“OBJECTION! Where can we find the Omnia Express and all the other pages that used to be on the website?”

HOLD IT! No need to worry about that! We’re currently working on putting those pages on our Tumblr page.

The Tumblr page will have all the future Omnia Express, and we’ll put the background content that used to be on the website.

And now, we can go back to our monthly tour in the World of Dreams, buckle up, keep your arms inside the cockpit, and here we go!

Next stop: the Wind’s Archipelago

Pankapu went through Peppu’s wooded tints. He also visited the Lush Forest and its huge trees. But now, he’s coming out of the Tree World area to rise above the sky and search for Ohoko!

Level Design

As you know, creating a level requires a lot of hard work. Our game designer, Jimmy, doesn’t just go on Unity and creates directly his level. Remember how Miyamoto used to prepare his level designs for Super Mario Bros. on sheets of paper? That’s what Jimmy has to do, in order to get the full picture of his future level!

Here’s an exclusive first look at a new enemy in Pankapu episode 2. Let me introduce the Kardigan!

The Kardigan lives in the Wind’s Archipelago. Wicked and soulless, this Hyanagi is nothing like Pankapu has ever seen before. He may not be able to move, but his body’s like an impenetrable shield and will push back all your attacks thanks to the infinite hangs of his cloak. That’s why you need to aim for the eyes.

In games, a new level implies new game mechanics. And in “Wind’s Archipelago” there is indeed one particular element that dominates… Get ready to tame the winds and ride them until the end of this Archipelago!

About This Game

Pankapu is a narrative and episodic platform/action game that takes place in the dreams of Djaha’rell, a child once troubled by a tragic incident. Play Pankapu, the tiny warrior chosen by The God of Dreams, to rid the Dreamworld of the Nightmare invasion.

Discovering the dreamlike world of Omnia, the player controls Pankapu. This tiny being was created by Iketomi, the God of dreams, in order to defeat the hordes of nightmares that try to invade his world.

Told in the manner of a fable read to a child, the game has two levels of reading: the story of Pankapu, epic and naïve in the dream-world, and the one about Jaha’rell's life, in the real-world, dark and tragic.
