The Good, The Bad & The Monkey: Welcome to a place where you'll sometimes laugh, and sometimes laugh even harder.

"The Good The Bad & The Monkey" is a game of the good or the bad. But in this game, it's up to you to decide who's good and who's bad. At this 5-player table, you'll laugh at times, laugh harder at other times, but mostly—laugh a lot. Shape your playstyle with 5 different cards. You'll have to lie to win the game without giving the Killer a chance. Ready to separate the "Good" from the "Bad"?

About the Game

• The Good, The Bad & The Monkey is an online card game for up to 5 players. There are five types of cards in the game: Good, Bad, Joker, Oopsie-Killer, and Peek-o-Boo.

• Before starting the game, you can either build your own deck using these cards or jump right in with just the Good and Bad cards. (We recommend customizing your deck with other cards once you're familiar with the core mechanics and rules.)

• When players join the game, each receives 5 cards, and one player is chosen as the "Killer." The main objective of the game is to reveal 4 Good cards before the Killer transforms everyone into monkeys.

Gameplay

• The starting player is chosen at random. This player selects 1 to 5 cards from their hand to form a package in any order and throws it into play. Players then draw from the package in turn, and the game continues this way.

• If a player reveals a Bad card while they already have one or more Good cards in front of them, all those cards return to their hand.

• If a player reveals a Bad card while they have no cards in front of them, the Bad card stays in front of them. The next Good card revealed will also return to their hand along with the Bad card.

• If the Killer draws a Bad card while having no cards in front of them, they eliminate a chosen player by turning them into a monkey. That's why bluffing while forming or drawing from the package is crucial. You never know who the strong will target!

• Other cards in the game take effect once drawn and then return to the hand of the player who drew them.

The goal for players is to win by revealing 4 Good cards from the package, while the Killer aims to transform the others into monkeys by playing Bad cards.

Good

The players' main goal to win is to reveal 4 Good cards. As players reveal Good cards, they may continue drawing from the pack.

Bad

If players reveal a Bad card, any previously revealed Good cards are collected and returned to their hand. If the Killer successfully reveals a Bad card in front of a chosen player, that player is turned into a Monkey and disqualified from the game.

Joker

The Joker card counts as a Bad card when drawn by the Killer, and as a Good card when drawn by any other player.

Oopsie-Killer

When the Oopsie-Killer card is drawn, the Killer is reselected and the game continues. The card is added to the hand of the player who drew it.

Peek-o-Boo

When the Peek-o-Boo card is drawn, it reveals the contents of the current card pack. The card is added to the hand of the player who drew it.
