The Farming Simulator 15 is thanks to the new forestry one of the best - and still evolving too slowly.
The game engine has been redesigned, and the game can now display effects and graphics rendering, that are well ahead of the previous version.
The movement of vehicles in terms of speed and weight is more realistic case of activities.
The machines and equipment are also excellently intuitive. They responded beautifully to weight discrepancies, misplaced bales of hay and any objects.
There is a twelve-part tutorial, and on request also a small introduction at the beginning of a new career. However, these tools do not cover all areas. Where we sell our merchandise? Where do we find side quests? What's up with the forestry?
There is a feeling of absolute simplicity and satisfaction in growing your crops, harvest them and then always the nice money in the end. I just wish it was not so damn slow.
One big issue is the information that could help you with better prices. There are arrows pointing up, down or right, but they do not really say anything to make a strategic decision or where to save your plants.
You can farm anything alone or hire some workers that automate certain processes. But the workers burn your money like no others. If you don’t get good yields on your crops, you will be burning through your money in no time and even if you do manage good yields. A other nice new feature is, you can now manage forest areas in the game with a number of new vehicles and machines designed specifically for this activity: harvesting equipment, chain saws, chippers and even trailers.
If you are looking for a game where you can drive beautifully modeled tractors and all kinds of farming machinery around a farm, then you’ve found a nice game. Otherwise, you’d best be weary of Farming Simulator 15 as while you will be able to sink many hours into it, not all of it will necessarily be fun. Players new to the series and farming will require patience and trail and error in learning the various gameplay mechanics.
