Announcing Hyper Art Contest Winners

We had an amazing turnout for the Hyper Art contest, and it was a grueling task to have to choose one winner for each hyper card. In addition to simple art quality, we had to consider how well the art piece would work as a small card picture.

Without further ado, let us present the winners!

For Manager's Banned for Life, the winning piece comes from Kulas.

For Shifu Robot's Turbo Charged, the winner is Classicを信じろ:

For Flying Castle's Immovable Object, the the winner is ァ↑ァ↓ムネちゃん↑.

For Robo Ball's Reflective Shell, RayNew takes the win.

For Seagull's Jonathan Rush, the victor is Maritan:

And finally, for Chicken's Golden Egg, the victory goes to FCrow!

The winning pieces will be seen in the game in a future update. Big thanks to everyone who participated in order to make 100% Orange Juice even more fun than it already is!

3/5 – CalmDownTom

“This game surprised me in so many ways. I have never really played a game like this before on a PC. I found it both fun and entertaining.”

This game is.. interesting. Playing is a weird mix of card strategy and dice luck. It's a good game, and well made, but ya have to be ready to be mercilessly beaten by CPUs with ridiculous luck over and over. For a low price tag, it's a surprisingly good online board game.

100% Orange Juice
I bought this game to play with my friends and found it fun and interesting.
There are a bit of inconsistencies but it is great, nothing is perfect without feedback.

  • Customizable characters
  • In-Game chat
  • Creative UI
  • Great price
  • Non-Toxic community
  • Campaign/Story mode

And here is one issue . . . the manual is a bit confising to the eye because there are many words but that may be my own issue. The game plays like Mario Party or a board game of some sort and that is neat.

Anyone can play this if you put your mind to it.

I'm honestly surprised by all of the positive reviews for this game given how frustrating it is. To be fair, I'm not the kind of gamer who loves digital board games, especially ones that seem simple but use complex rules that you can only learn by playing.

I've played through about 6 games so far, and have lost every one to the cheating AI. I was playing on the easiest setting, but the computers always seem to land on the home spaces as soon as they reach their goal. I've lost a few games while having the most stars and wins....about double that of any other AI player. Additionally, I've noticed that the AI players ONLY target me with their damage cards. I'm unsure if it's because I have the most stars (even though I'm never in the lead), but it's very frustrating to play a game that doesn't use luck.

Additionally, the only way to unlock additional features of the game to buy with in-game currency is to win a level....which the AI has yet to let me do. I've gone 20 turns without being allowed to land on a home space.

Overall, there are a lot of board games out there, a lot of card games out there, and this game doesn't seem to do the mix very well. Coupled with hacky programming, you've got yourself a frustrating experience. I'd recommend passing on this one IMHO.

I haven't given the multiplayer a chance yet. Maybe it will be better than playing against the AI.

Yes I know, it looks like a kids game but some how, some way, it got me hooked.
Ridiculously addictive game with the friendliest online community you're likely to find.

Over the course of my experience with this game, I have seen nobody I know not get angry at least once while playing it. A friend of mine is notorious in my group for having very good luck. We considered him to be favored by RNG. The child of RNGesus. The dice master. All of this was laid bare before the Eldritch might of 100% Orange Juice. Now, all of my friends have abandoned me. None of them will play anymore. Suguri sits outside my window every night, brandishing a knife. Messages written in blood have manifested all over my walls. Marie Poppo won't stop knocking at my door. Send help please.

A true game for men. Only intended for the non-sensitive. Expect to be hit with stressful moments and cruel difficulty. People looking for a game with a bad narrative, lore, and difficulty, and relaxing gameplay should look at the Dark Souls series.

I played 5 hours of 100% Orange Juice and I can't even get pass the first or second level TT^TT Also, I bought DLC characters for some reason. I don't even use them... D'oh! I guess I gotta support the indie developers (Orange_Juice).

Don't let the omega-level kawaii desu ka~ :3 anime characters fool you. This game is harder than Dark Souls and Battletoads COMBINED. Ok, I exaggerate, but it's pretty darn hard. You'll be cussing the other players or AI out and praying to RNGesus for lucky dice rolls. You'll be aruging who is best girl, even though they're underaged, too (you sick perverts :o jk). What more do you want in a game? :P

All in all, if you like board games, indie games, anime, cute things, strategy, and a challenge, I recommend it. There's some strategy to it, believe it or not. Don't let the dice rolls deceive you. It's obvious, but picking the right cards can make your game turn out more smoothly.

This game reminds me of Mario Party and the board game in Kingdom Hearts: BBS (ok, this one, not really, just a little bit). The AI in this game is too difficult, though -_- Orange_Juice, patch this nonsensical OPness, xD

"A day without 100% Orange Juice is a like day without sunshine" ^_^
Support the small, indie developers, yo.

I may be late to the party in reviewing this game... it's a terrible thing, wondrous and terrible. It is truly the only video game that can cause deep strife and demented changes of personality. If there was a quick way to find the psychopathy in someone or to draw out the inner serial killer it is this very title. Some eldritch being devised this accursed craft, like a Lemarchand puzzle box crossed with Jumanji except none of it is real and no demons are summoned--- but it feels so damned real, because the demons were you and inside you and in the buzzing in the back of your comrade's head (to be excised with a very hard rock of pudding), just waiting for a weak little duck to make a snide little smirk and roll a 6. You never knew this demon had walked with you, right alongside your guardian angels of fortune with a shotgun full of randomization to royally butcher their face. At a certain point, you asked, "How the ♥♥♥♥ did he roll that?!" but now you ask, "How will I win? Blood or stars?" It's not Jumanji wild, It's Fargo wild. It's Steve Buscemi in a woodchipper. You look at these cute anime characters and wonder, "Why are you so angry?" It's not the ominous game's effect on you, but rather the battlefield you made for yourself in your own mind. The truest expression of horror is not direct: these Cenobites are just little girls and boys, wide-eyed and bushy-tailed. They are nonetheless the bane of men possessed of greed- for stars and blood- shackled to the cards and the squares, always fighting over what..? We do not know, but we have long forgotten our names and our friendship instead for this "kawaii" battlefield.

If you're really good at it, use really bad cards every time with no concern for strategy. I guess. Or just do it because you hate everyone who ever played this game and yourself for feeling so good at winning because of RNG. Remember to always pretend you were playing stupid as a trick to lull them into feeling secure in victory. Then strike. Act like RNG is skill and that you were planning that accident.
