That said, the game is playable and enjoyable, the fundamentals of combat (albeit sometimes buggy) can currently be experienced by anyone in all it's glory.
If you are someone who needs more than just combat to continue enjoying the game, you may get tired of this fairly quickly”

-Fixed parry lock fainting - when a swing gets locked it can no longer be cancelled
-Fixed kills not showing in survival mode
-Fixed getting +1 Ammo and not getting your passive amulet power back
-Getting +1 Ammo now returns model to players back
-You can no longer gain more then the maximum ammo for any disposable
-Fixed killing with Ice Spike Stealth Icon Appears and console says "hit with trap"
-Fixed icespike spawn indicator not dissappearing sometimes
-When an icespike is unable to spawn the cooldown will get reset so player can retry
-Fixed swinging while changing spells
-Fixed being able to change sword without dieing exploit
-Fixed sprinting while using ALT camera
-Fixed chat appearing twice when typed
-Fixed player being able to dash away after a sword action
-Shortened the time in which swords can clash in the middle
-Fixed icespike preventing actions a second after spell is cast
-Fixed icespike not blocking Push
-Fixed using Plane shift after certain actions such as teleport/attacking/rolling/jump attack/parry causes phase shift to end the duration of the spell earlier than held
-Fixed shield still visible when in phase
-Fixed Fire sword particles are still visible while in phase
-Fixed Parries and clashes causing sparks to appear somwhere else on the map
-Increased pull hit size
-Fixed Server browser entering twice after a refresh
-Fixed chat not being able to type all characters

-Made MMR more consistant
-Server browser automatically refreshes when opened

Kingdoms Rise is about palpable multiplayer fantasy battle. Take your choice of weapons and abilities onto a battlefield where skill alone will decide your fate.

With a multitude of armors, swords, spells, ranged weapons and more you can customize a warrior and a fighting style unique to you.

Kingdoms Rise makes fantasy combat something more than grind a earn level-ups. It's not a means to an end but and end in itself.
The feeling of steel against steel is made solid. Bringing all tension and thrill as knights wield sword and fire against each other.

Read your opponent and try to psych them out in tactical blade dueling.
Wield spells such as fireballs, lightening, hook-shots, invisibility and blinks that will work tightly in tandem with your strengths in swordsmanship.
This game has been build from the beginning to feel palpable, as though you control every muscle and plant every step. You wont watch a knight perform fancy pants maneuvers from simple button presses, instead you step into the very boots of your character and fight with your own finesse.

With deep character customization every fight is unique and every opponent will have a new trick up their sleeve.
Experiment with different combinations and strategies to create a knight with a fighting style unique to you alone.

Players can form parties with friends and fight in competitive modes.
In team games the only limit is your imagination. Your teammates can build themselves into roles such as tanks, damage dealers, supports or any new role you see fit. Think up new strategies, combine spells in interesting ways and achieve victory!

Completely DEAD
All servers are empty.
has great potential, the customisation is really cool!

Do not play this if you ever want to play a finished game. Released in November 2013, not much better in March 2015.

Dev is too slow with updates, and the player base is consistantly ~1 person avg every month. Biggest regret on Steam.

Dissapointingly unplayable. This game has so much potential but it's quite upsetting to see them charge so much for a game that's so empty an under-developed, even for an early access game. Controls are stiff and annoying, combat is just confusing and there generally barely anything else to do other than run round and kill people. The graphics are what stand out the most in the game, effects are vivd and beutiful and the maps look divine, it's just a shame it doesn't play as well.
