We have been working on some additional content for Shelter and are now ready to share it with all of you!

We have created Steam Trading Cards with unique art specifically for these cards. As well as Badges, Emoticons and Backgrounds for you all to enjoy!

Experience the wild as a mother badger sheltering her cubs from harm. On their journey they get stalked by a bird of prey, encounter perils of the night, river rapids crossings, big forest fires and the looming threat of death by starvation.

Food is to be found, but is there enough for everyone? You will learn that the cubs need food not just to survive, but to enable them overcome the varying challenges they will face as they make their way through the world.

Are you ready for a truly different adventure, something that might evoke feelings you've never felt in a game before? In the wild, all living creatures are put to the test. The question in the end is who will survive to live another day?

Retro Family have once again composed a beautiful soundtrack to an original and graphically innovative setting in a world of nature where shelter is your only hope and survival your only goal.

Shelter is a lovely survival game which has you playing as an intrepid babdgermum or badgerdad whose job it is to save your kit.

The game plays very well and looks fantastic. The soundtrack is joyous to listen to and the threats ingame tangible. Over a very short time you feel a real connection with your baby badgers and will do anything to save them.

Sadly, the game falls down on it's length, which is my only criticism. A lovely little game, but little it is, with around 1 hour for a full playthrough.

Still a fun experience!

The emotions of keeping my faimly alive through the elments of danger is only explinable by the fact that I was drunk while playing this game. As I finshed the game I only had 1 of my 5 badgers left now I know how hard it is to be monnmy a badger! Now I have fulfiled one of my lifetime goals in life.

This game is amazing. Yes, it's short. Yes, it's basic. Yes, it's far from being graphically groundbreaking. But guess what? it works!... It speaks to your guts without a single word. It's an experience with a lot of soul. No HUD needed, no briefing nor story. In the wild life, it's the instinct that tells you what to do. Although the game being very short, it's a little piece of art that you should play to the end the best way you can. It's self-rewarding.

Nature, and by extension life, is harsh. Very harsh. This is what this game is about. The controls are simple and the world is quite small and linear. You're a mother badger who has to look after her cubs. The mechanics are built around that, so if you really try to keep them all alive and well fed the game can be very tense and dramatic. It's short, but I think it accoplishes what it is set out to do quite well; it explores an idea through envoirmental storytelling and solid, coherent mechanics. If you know what you're getting into you won't be dissappointed.
