Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan on a six month Early Access period, which will allow several updates prior to the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There are a number of possible changes to the gameplay, which will be prioritized along with other feedback, such as:
  • More play styles (timed, score, etc.)
  • Underwater flower variety as well as others.
  • More detailed vegetation -- adding logs, rocks, more tree types, grasses, etc.
  • Adding more wildlife like rabbits, deer, birds, bugs, crabs, whales, and fish.
  • Better loading experience.
  • Player accounts and leaderboards for best times, # islands found, etc.
  • Weather
  • Seasons

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable, with a procedurally-generated island and flower collection objectives. It also includes a map, compass, guidebook, and firefly lantern. The world features a dynamic day/night cycle, along with weather, seasons, and the aura at night. In addition to hiking, players may swim in the ocean.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

Each island is yours to discover. Stunning vista views, waves crashing on the shore, the wind in the leaves, the sun setting over the sea, the birds in flight. There are millions of procedurally-generated islands awaiting exploration.


Observe the lay-of-the-land and use your map & compass find different types of flowers. Peak's Petal on the highest points, Trail Thistle on the trail's edges, and Shorestalk on the sandy beaches... then journey there to find them!


Catch fireflies at night to light your way. Enjoy stargazing and watching aurora borealis dancing in the sky.


Use your spyglass to scout out far-off landscapes in search of what you seek.

Take a hike. Enjoy the journey.
