勉强推荐。

一款可以分析你本地音乐让你玩的音乐游戏,但是并没有传统音乐游戏对节奏的精确要求,所以不少人认为这款并不是传统意义上的音乐游戏也没错啦。

游戏的画面咱非常喜欢,自定义武器方向以后,可以发射出相当漂亮的弹幕。游戏界面整个偏蓝色,背景是水平面,看着很舒服……至少比Beat Harzard那种闪瞎你的游戏画面好啦。

比较杯具的是,由于设计上的失误,游戏不支持亚洲文字,所以你需要手动修改含有中日文字以及标点的歌曲属性,否则是无法显示的。其次,游戏的装备和歌曲挂钩,想刷出稀有武器就只能大量的往游戏中导入歌曲,然后在歌曲记录上也还有一些问题……总之这个开发小组不是那种专业团队,所以尽管这是款有剧情的音游,但是系统上需要改进的地方还很多。

又是一款有爱的音乐小游戏!之前曾玩过《Melody Escape》 ,有点类似。游戏创意很不错,玩家操作一架“战斗机”消灭源源不断的旋律破坏者,汲取Inspiration和Docas可提高武器伤害,并可用来升级武器。强大的音乐导入功能,不同的歌曲还可以解锁不同的武器。把霉霉跟艾薇儿的歌曲导入,一边听歌一边击败这些可恶的小东东,顿时就很有感觉。游戏节奏也会随着音乐旋律的变化而不断变化,想一命通关还是很有难度的。建议大家都试试,很休闲的音乐游戏!

This game is amazing. Not many words to describe it on its own, so I'll take two games and put them together to describe it. Space invaders and AudioSurf. Nuff said go have fun!

It started off very smooth and enjoyable but by the 244th song it got quite stale. By then it wouldn't be a surprise if other players would have memorized all the possible patterns enemies follow (whether you play on the lowest or highest difficulty).

In the higher difficulties, the playing field felt very confining. This provides a good challenge but at the same time, it feels very limiting if you're someone who prefers freedom of movement like what you see in Beat Hazard.

I try to phase the game out when doing long-winded tasks (such as 840 minutes played and 244 songs completed). Unfortunately, the game will auto-pause when you tab out. You can't even move the window to the corner of your screen in case you want to phase out and multi-task for some casual playing. Add to that the fact that this game unfortunately uses a lot more resources than Beat Hazard.

It's a aesthetically beautiful game but it could not keep things fresh until the end.

If you are listening to heavy fast music = dont use it in game.
Tutorial in legendary mode is not that fun lol

An absouletly fabulous game-- beautiful and well made-- easy to pick up, difficult to master... etc. There are a lot of things I could say about the experience that is Symphony, but it really is hard to put into words. If you're farmiliar with musical lingo, and fluent in reading sheet music, then this game will become one of the most entertaining and musically stimulating experiences.

Have you noticed I've been refering to it as an experience? Well, I mean, this is one of the only titles I know in which you can import in speedcore techno and rock out while going through a horribly difficult bullet hell, and immediately swap over to something calm and classical while stil destroying interesting and yet heavily frustrating enemy types.

Pros:
Can import ALMOST any song and play it to your difficulty level
Awesome menu music
Fun upgrades and weapons
Replayibility
Auto fire options

Cons:
You cannot import songs longer than 10 minutes
Can get painfully difficult
Bosses are spontainious and impossible to predict their encounters
Enemies can be unforgiving if you lose a ship part
Upgrading ship parts gets really expensive

Overall 8/10. Buy it if you like bullet hell shooters, or even just arcade style games.

Whenever I see a game that tries to be a "music" game that reacts to what the song is like and so on, I compare it with the glorious audiosurf, and most games can´t stand the comparison, neither can Symphony. I just expect more, enemies that spawn on the bass, levels that differ, and Symphony just can´t convince me in that regard.

This is another one of those games that was built for a tablet, rather than a PC first, and then was ported... and it shows.

Shooter games rely upon precision, but touchscreen-based tablets lack that utterly, so they made a game where you are hypothetically encouraged to use precision, but where your shots sweep the whole battlefield, your ship takes up a massive space (much larger than it appears!), and enemy bullets are likewise far larger than they appear, leading to deaths from things that miss your ship entirely.

But who cares?! You get infinite lives, anyway! Plus, it's not like it matters half the time, anyway, because your shots can be upgraded to so overpowered that you kill everything before you even realize it's there, and firing in all directions. It's such that "play" largely involves just collecting powerups with proper timing to keep a chain alive.

Since score is the only thing that determines how well you did, (you can "beat" a song by simply walking away from the keyboard for the full length of the song, no participation required,) then collecting note powerups at the precise timing to keep a chain alive is literally the only thing (besides purposefully underpowering your ship to up a challenge modifier) that exists as a means of judging skill.

I would only recommend it to people who really love their music library, and just want even more excuse to listen to it.

I thought Beat Hazard was an awesome music-drive shooter... and then I came across Symphony. And al l Ican say is... Why didn't I get this game earlier? While it's not as intense (or hard on the eyes) as Beat Hazard, it's just as deep. Unlocking new weapons and upgrades, playing through your own music collection, amazing visuals... all of these make for an amazing shooter driven by your music. You'll enjoy this game as much as you enjoy your music (unless you don't listen to music, then you're on your own).

Much in the style of Beat Hazard, Symphony is a chaotic shooter powered by your personal music collection.
Rather than being a twin stick shooter, Symphony is more of a vertically scrolling shmup. As you play through your library of music, you will unlock different pieces of equipment to build ships out of. Each piece has a specific response to music, so a subwoofer launcher will fire a huge burst every time there is a strong bass note. This novel interactivity between the ship and music means you can design a ship to specifically be most effective with a certain song or genre.
It’s a super cool concept and I really enjoy being able to play a game that connects with my music library in this way.

A fun top-down shooter thing with levels randomly generated based on your music. It is very entertaining, and the more songs you play the more weapons, difficulties and progress you unlock. This game is seriously fun, as well as rewarding you for making things difficult for yourself by giving you higher score multipliers for weaker weapon loadouts.

It was fun while it lasted, I like the fact that you can add in your m=own music to the game, but the main missions feel like they end a bit fast and reaching the end game weapons seems a bit too easy. There could have been a bigger variety in weapons as well, but for the price, this was a pretty fun game.

Imagine that you had a music disc and with it came a space ship and guns and monsters and bang bang and a lot of color that will blow your mind yes this makes it so good to feel this way 9.5/10 could have had more frogs nt great play for your family and maybe a dog

Got this game on Humble Bundle and sincerely, i didnt expect anything from Sympohny. Also never been a fan of music games like Audiosurf or Guitar Hero. However, this little game surprised me. Basicaly, this game mix the music game genre with the "arcade-space-shooter" genre, and the result is simple but fantastic. Even if the main story line is short, you will have plenty of fun playing with your own music. The graphics feel smooth, and the gameplay just works fine. You can play in 6 different skill levels, there are plenty of updgrades you can do to your ship. I definetly reccomend it for anyone who wants to play something fresh and clean casually.

This game is great! You battle enemies to the beat of your music, the enemies speed up or slow down due to the tempo and beat of the music. It's especially good if you have TV/Movie theme songs. Graphics are beautiful, nice variety of enemies and the customisable ship is lovely, I reccomend the double blasters on all four sides.

Only problem is the random boss fights that will happen in the middle of the song, no way of just playing a free mode, story mode or go home. It might be alright when you finish the story, but it's rather annoying when you're playing a short song and a guy just pops out of nowhere and says "fite meh"

Bosses also get very repetitive, every sheet of music you collect brings along a new type of boss, more annoying than the last.

But this is definitely such a fun game, so buy it.

It's a good game for first few hours, then you can uninstall it, and forget about it completely. There are combinations which you can put your ship at the middle, and it auto-kills everything that enters the screens. So if you want to complete achievements, you can pick a long song, then leave your pc to do your daily stuff, and check occasionally to see if song has finished or not.

Fun game with beautiful visuals and design, it looks really lovely and stylish, like a symphony should be. But gets old after 3rd time listening, which a symphony should never be.

Very beautiful and very good "music shooter" overall only cons i could imagine is that there are so small amount of guns and ship is not customizable (i mean you can change guns and stuff but your ship is the same all the time)

A beautiful little rhythm game. You might be annoyed by the fact that harder difficulties are initially locked, but once you reach them you're in for the ride of your life. Nods in the achievements and the structure of the light story clearly show that this is a game by music lovers to music lovers.

I've played with classical, electronic, and jazz and have gotten great levels out of all of them, with significant variance in the design (the key features being the speed of enemies affected by the tempo and the number of enemies by the volume).

Honestly I was shocked to check the Steam usage stats and see just how few people play this game on a regular basis. I would wholeheartedly recommend it. I would alse recommend the Extra Credits youtube vid on the game-- it was what got me to buy the game in the first place!

Caveats:
If you've already got Beat Hazard or similar, well, the gameplay is somewhat similar (action shooter to music).

The actual area your ship is in is smaller than it seems, and your hitbox is larger than it feels like it should be. The counterpoint to this is that picking up points repairs your ship, and oftentimes you won't die from one hit. Still, the ship size gets annoying, especially with higher enemy densities and higher difficulty settings.

Weapon drops are seemingly by random chance, though if you have enough music this won't be a major issue until the late game, when Furia (rare) weapons become more important. Level 5 standard weapons will get you through, but it's certainly harder. In my experience this wasn't a huge issue, as Furia weapons dropped often enough, but if you're unlucky...

Overall I give this game a Recommended/10.
