This game is by Stephen "Increpare" Lavelle, creator of PuzzleScript. That should be enough said but heres some information on the game.

English Country Tune is a sokoban puzzler similair to those you would see from PuzzleScript, but this one is in 3d. This game uses a large variety of creative elements. The puzzles are well designed and while there are some instructions you will more often learn what things do through experimentation.

Game is long enough to be worth it. Levels are unlocked by completing specific other levels, but often creates small branches to other levels. Watch which ones so you can unlock them first and have more choices if you get stuck. No achievements. I like acheivements I dont know why he doesnt want them but thats ok.

Game never really got hard. The last levels combine all the elements and show some more interesting ways they can interact, but they werent really any more challenging. They were some of the most fun levels though. Lots of variety.

Ultimately, English Country Tune is a good quality experimental puzzler. Check out PuzzleScript if you havent. If you like that sort of thing this is basicly a must get.

(1) Every level is NP Complete. That is to say, every level will take you exponential time to solve.
(2) The level editor is also a level.

infinity / infinity will f**k my brain again

Definitely the most unique puzzle game I've played.

+ Difficulty ramps up slowly and introduces new mechanics along the way
+ Unique mechanic "gravity applies perpendicularly to objects moved on each move made" -- hard to explain; easier to see it in a video
+ Decent number of levels
- No achievements
- Some levels give me trypophobia

This is a rather unusual puzzle which will wrap your brain in a knot at times - but the solutions are always there, there's usually something guiding you towards them, you just need to find that thing!!

There are a couple of puzzles which are frustrating and the game doesn't give you much latitude for progress (you need to complete most of the puzzles to continue) but overall I found it challenging and thus I recommend it!

The short version: this is an insane game for insane people, and I loved nearly every moment of it.

The long version: this starts as, basically, Sokoban, but quickly reveals itself as much more than that: the spheres (or "larvae") you push "simulate gravity as camouflage" i.e. fall in the direction dependant on how they wre pushed. The difficulty past the first five or six levels skyrockets, and the game keeps piling up new mechanics on you until almost the very end. It requires excellent spatial awareness, but the feeling of satisfaction after cracking a particularly fiendish puzzle is unparalleled. The levels are ordered in semi-nonlinear fashion, but there are several "chokepoints" that may block you from further progress for hours as you despair for a solution.

The presentation is very simplistic (as you van see from the screenshots), but clear and legible. The sound and music are, fittingly, ascetic, with ambient humming and chanting.

You will get stuck. More than once. And you'll love it.
