Why Early Access?

“We are an indie team from Ireland taking our first bold step into the gaming world. Early access will help us to listen to our players and implement their feedback in order to make Ekoh Beach as great as possible. Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 4 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The big addition is stable and refined multiplayer mode. We aim to expand the quest feature while adding depth and greater story to our NPC's. The technology tree will be refined and expanded based on player experience and testing, this applies as well to the game economy as a whole. Further after-main-game features will be expanded such as the "player factory" which will extend the game-play post town completion. We also aim to introduce sailing and off-island exploration.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game is "toward" a stable single player. We say toward because no matter how much testing we do in Unity, it doesn't compare to veteran gamers. We have a relatively deep technology tree with four branches, 8 NPC house types, about 22 unique buildings with interiors and a town ready for our 25 NPC's! The player can complete the town map, make new friends, conquer the depths of the mines and of course run for Mayor of Ekoh Beach!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes the early access version of the game will be cheaper than the full version.”

About This Game

The mysterious planet of Ekoh 99 has been isolated for years, but a job posting for a new town planner leads you to travel to this quaint tropical paradise.

Your work is cut out for you when you find the town devastated from a nasty Robot Rebellion, not to mention the mysterious disappearance of the brilliant quantum scientist: Dr Terra! Fulfill your destiny to rebuild the town, befriend the new citizens, bring the industry back to life, and uncover the lost secrets of Ekoh Beach as you return it to its former glory!

Features:

  • Rebuild the town of Ekoh Beach! Collect weird and wonderful hyper-quantum-resources to restore the town to its high-tech heyday! Harvest wood, stone, metal, particle-infused sand, premium moon dust and the essence of the universe itself to make it happen!

  • Buff Your Skills and Unlock New Machines! Practice makes perfect, and collecting materials will improve your skills, but there are a host of machines to make your life easier too! Sure you could smack rogue robots with a crowbar, but it’s much safer to Don the TerrSuit 9000 and shield yourself with some handy electromagnetism while you keep the robots of the underworld at bay with the latest in plasma weaponry! Make friends faster with high empathy, and get better deals on the homes you sell when you’ve worked on your haggling!

  • Bring the Town Back to Life! Your new builds might convince new residents to move into restored homes… though you might have to befriend them first! Certain friendships will unlock new buildings, too! With over 30 unique NPC’s to befriend, the town will grow astronomically!

  • Run for Mayor. You’ll already have built the town back up from nothing, how hard can it be to win over the townspeople and convince them to vote you in!

  • Explore the Secrets of Ekoh Beach! The robot rebellion may be long past, but deep beneath the town, echoes of it lurk, and Dr. Terra’s abandoned lab looms large in the forest… are you brave enough to investigate?
