What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The previous demos were a great source of feedback and the game would have gone in a much worse direction if it wasn't for all the amazing feedback everyone has given me. I want to continue to have the community be a big source of guidance as the game continues to develop all the way until full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Tricky Madness will stay in Early Access for another two or three years with continual updates along the way.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plan is to take what's already in the game, improve it and add more. More levels, characters, a single-player campaign on a connected mountain and multiplayer are all planned.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version contains all the core mechanics with race, freestyle and time trials. It has 4 of the 8 planned levels and 4 of the 8 planned characters. The planned campaign mode and planned multiplayer are still awaiting further development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, I plan on increasing the price during Early Access and when Tricky Madness leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“My community is the most important thing to me. Everyone's feedback on the game has been instrumental in making it better. Whether you share your experience, report bugs, let me know about any pain points, request new features or even just record yourself playing, it's all immensely helpful. Together, we can make this game reach its full potential and be the best it can be. Thank you!”

About This Game

Tricky Madness is built around arcade snowboarding and handcrafted maps with tons of lines. Play for speed or play for points.

ARCADE OR NOTHING
Arcade means fun first and whatever is cool. Smashing through buildings, riding in outer space, extreme jumps and unrealistic speed. Holding nothing back. Levels have their own identities from sunset canyons to nighttime cities to space stations. Crazy, fun, exciting and over the top. Out of this world, literally.

FIND YOUR LINE
Find every secret, hit every element and keep coming back until every inch has been conquered. Each branching path contains millions of lines waiting to be combined in ways even I didn't expect.

RACE + STYLE
Keep boost going for almost the entire run by tricking off every small bump. No top speed means slowdowns compound as you build speed toward the finish line. In freestyle spam every trick and route crazy paths to get more snowflake multipliers like going back up the mountain.

Hold nothing back, find every line and dominate the mountain.
