What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We believe Early Access is right place for HRM to reach its full potential, since by letting players dive into full careers, push the system over time and give feedback is best way to build a enjoyable final experience. It also provides sustainable support for ongoing development, so we can keep expanding features and polish without rushing or compromising the goals we have set ourselves. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to remain in Early Access for approximately six months, all depending on how development progresses.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“One of most significant differences gameplay wise is that in Early Access, you begin your journey already as a stable owner, while in full game you will start as a humble manager working for other stable. We still have to expand on current and upcoming features until we can consider HRM to be complete. Refer to "About this game" for a Roadmap of HRM.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In current state, we have everything that is mentioned in "About this Game" section. We are now actively balancing and polishing our current content, while also preparing new features for upcoming updates. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be lower during Early Access and will slightly increase once the full version launches to reflect the added content and improvements.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is a key part of our development approach. We will be gathering input through Steam discussions and our Discord server to help identify balance issues, suggest new features and refine existing system.

Player feedback will directly influence updates, upcoming features and events. We plan to share regular development updates through devlogs and changelogs to keep players informed on progress and upcoming changes.

Our approach has gotten great feedback from players, in alpha playtesting alone we shipped 50 updates, with 300+ bug fixes and 150+ features requested by the community.”

About This Game

Our goal is to make Horse Racing Manager the most realistic management simulation where you build and grow your own racing empire. You will make your way from small beginnings to world-class glory, every decision you make will pave your way, and you choose where it leads.

Roadmap of Horse Racing Manager

Breeding with the Pseudo-DNA Feature

Breed with our Pseudo-DNA system, where genetics actually matter. Every horse has a unique genetic profile (speed, stamina, acceleration, temperament, soundness, and dozens of other traits) passed down from both parents through dominant and recessive genes. Smart pairings stack strengths. Lazy ones stack weaknesses. Read the pedigrees, spot the hidden talent, and chase the rare pairing that makes the next champion sire or dam. Then watch your bloodline take over the sport.

Experience the Race

Race on different tracks and surfaces, from local meets to majors. Win or lose comes down to preparation, training and tactics. Once the gates open, either sit back and watch the simulation play out, or drop into Jockey Mode and ride the race yourself. Hold your position in the pack, time your move, save the horse for the final furlong, and finish it off. Every race rewards knowing your horse: when to push, when to wait, and when to ask for everything they've got.

Race Worldwide

Race across the world. Ship horses to international meetings, target the biggest names on different continents, and put your stable on the map. Every region has its own circuit, its own style of racing and its own rivals to beat. The best stables prove themselves on more than one of them.

Road to Owner

Start from nothing. Begin as an unemployed manager or jockey, hire on with an existing stable, and work your way up. Ride other people's horses. Run other people's training programs. Bank every paycheck. Once you've got the cash, the reputation and the contacts, open your own stable and start calling the shots. Want to skip the climb? Drop straight into ownership on day one. Your career, your call.

Road to Champion

Climb the ranks. Start in Not Graded races, break into Listed company, then push through Group 3, Group 2 and up to Group 1, the level where horses earn a place in the record books. Every horse has its own grade. Every race has an entry tier. Moving up the ladder means picking the right targets, preparing properly, and timing your shot.

Succession and Social Life

Build a dynasty. Marry, raise kids and pass the stable down through the generations. Your children inherit your traits and grow into jockeys, trainers or managers in their own right. Decades later, the bloodlines you bred will still be running, with your family name still on the silks. Along the way, deal with jockeys, trainers, owners and journalists through social events and personal relationships that shape your contracts, your reputation and your long-term decisions.

Training and Care

Develop each horse the way you want. Choose training routines, set feeding plans, and decide how hard to push. Rest, conditioning and nutrition all matter. Get the balance right and you'll see the difference on race day.

Staff Management

Hire and manage jockeys, trainers, veterinarians and support staff. A good trainer turns potential into wins. A bad jockey throws away a race you should have won. Your staff are as important as your horses.

Facility Upgrades

Build out your stable. Construct and upgrade specialised facilities, each one with its own impact on training, horse development, staff performance and race results. A well-built base is the difference between average runners and serious contenders.

Auctions and Trading

Buy and sell horses through a full market system. Bid against rival stables at auctions of every tier, hunt for the underpriced talent nobody else spotted, and arrange private deals for horses that aren't going to auction.

Stay Informed

Keep tabs on the sport. The in-game news feed covers race results, rival stables, breeding news, retirements, scandals and anything else worth knowing. Things move fast. Stay sharp.

Every stable starts small. Only a few become legends. Build the stable, breed the horses, win the races, leave a name behind. The rest is up to you.
