Write Warz is a story-building party game built for one to six players.

Write a line, vote for the winner, and build the story across themes and worlds to create hilarious stories and captivating adventures!

Write, vote, and build the story

Each story starts with a sentence. Everyone writes what happens next, then votes for the contribution they want added to the story. Tied sentences combine into one, so even the vote can send things in an unexpected direction.

Earn points by winning rounds, using bonus words, and voting for the winning sentence. The highest score wins, and everyone gets a story they helped create.

Help your faction win the story.

Each player is assigned to a faction before the story begins. Work with your teammates to get your contributions chosen, balancing what makes a good story with what helps your side come out ahead. Day and night time cycles complicate the battlefield, but you will overcome!

Build a story from your friends' answers.

Answer a short set of Mad Libs-style prompts each round. Then another player's answers appear in the middle of your sentence, giving you an unusual combination to work into your intergalactic rock story. You never know what direction your story is going to take.

Listen closely to the radio.

Cryptic messages come through a crackling radio as your group writes its story. Decode the words in the transmissions to piece together warnings about the terrible events approaching your location. Supplies are the key to survival!

Collect bounties on your friends.

Work their names into your sentences to earn cash as your group builds a Wild West story. Winning rounds and voting add to your earnings, giving you another reason to get your contribution into the tale.

Your whole crew helps decide the ending.

Build your story together while earning crew points from round specific objectives. Your crew's combined performance shapes the outcome of the story. Will your team triumph over adversity or will this be a tragic tale?

Every player brings a different relic.

Each player receives a unique relic that puts their own twist on how the story develops. Between your relic and the other players' ideas, the story will be a grand adventure!

Collect gold and attack your friends!.

Go on a swashbuckling adventure on the seven seas. Collect gold from bounties and use them to attach your friends with cannonballs. Make sure to save some gold to repair your ships!

Adapt when the story takes a turn.

Twice per game, a plot point throws something new into the story for everyone to deal with. Follow the twist and earn bonus points as your group works the unexpected development into its horror tale.
