Why Early Access?

Network Empire is already playable and offers its core management experience, but its interconnected economy needs feedback from a broad range of players to reach the right balance. Early Access lets us tune progression and competition, improve performance and usability, and refine content as players put its systems through a wider range of situations.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We currently expect Network Empire to remain in Early Access for several months. We do not have an exact end date: the timing will depend on development progress, the quality of the experience and the feedback we receive.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

We plan for the full version to build on the nine-country, 1G-to-5G foundation already playable today. Our priorities are a better-balanced progression curve, clearer economic feedback, stronger performance and usability, and further refinement of the existing content and competitive systems. Player feedback will help us prioritize this work; scope and timing may change during development.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The current build supports solo play against AI-controlled operators and competitive online multiplayer through Steam for up to four players total: one host and up to three others. It is not cooperative and is available on Windows only.

It includes nine playable countries, region unlocking, antenna placement and upgrades, coverage, capacity and maintenance management, progression from 1G to 5G through technologies, licenses and auctions, subscription pricing, marketing, reputation, customers, revenue, expenses, market share, statistics and graphs, missions, challenges and objectives, a tutorial, saves and adjustable time.

As an Early Access build, its balance, performance, usability and content may still evolve.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

We do not currently plan to increase the price after Early Access. We may reconsider this policy if the game’s content changes significantly before the full release.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

We will follow feedback shared through the Steam Discussions and Discord. Reports about balance, performance, usability and the overall experience will help us identify priorities and guide improvements. Feedback will inform our decisions, although it cannot guarantee that every individual suggestion will be implemented.
