Early Access lets us put the game in the hands of players who know and love the MÖRK BORG universe early, so their feedback can directly shape the final experience, from balance and level design to the nihilistic chaos the game is built around.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This window gives us enough time to act on community feedback, expand content, and polish the experience before the full 1.0 release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a vertical slice representing roughly 40% of the final game. The full release will add more playable classes, new regions to explore, additional levels, quests, items, weapons, and enemies, along with the true ending of the game, which won't be available during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and content-rich. It includes 3 Main Quests, 3 Heretic Quests, 10 Billboard Quests, 60 Situations, 3 playable classes, roughly 100 items, and 40 characters ranging from enemies to bosses. There's a substantial amount of content to experience, this is a real game, not a tech demo.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The game is priced lower during Early Access to reflect the current state of the content and to reward early supporters. The price will increase at the 1.0 full release. Players who purchase during Early Access will not pay the difference.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Just like the original MÖRK BORG tabletop RPG, one of the most community-driven games in the TTRPG space, we want to build this game alongside its players. We'll be actively gathering feedback through the Steam forums, running regular development updates, and using community input to prioritize what gets added or changed in each update.”
