“《紅怪》是款帶有「克蘇魯」風格，以扮演怪物惡人為主題的動作小品，玩法帶有解謎元素且有與「類銀河戰士惡魔城」相似的地圖路線、密室以及需要獲得關鍵能力後重返探索設計；戰鬥的部分略顯重複，但以觸手刺穿人類、吞噬人體並藉此成長茁壯，瘋狂血腥殺戮所帶來的「舒壓感」仍是一大特色，同時因為是像素風格，不必擔心畫面太過血腥殘忍。要說遊戲最大的問題，就是無地圖導致容易讓人迷路，除此之外這是款「瘟腥」的小品。”
