Why Early Access?

“The 11Th Dream game has been in active development since summer 2017. We have been working on various aspects of the game for two years, and now we are happy to share game with all key gameplay elements ready. We want to go early access to receive all the possible feedback and sharpen the 11Th Dream gameplay precisely.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our plan is to release the full game around the beginning of September 2019. Our concept is to upload new updates frequently every two weeks, bringing new skirmish maps and integrating rest of the features. We are confident that we can make 11Th Dream come true and we are keen to hear Your suggestions during the journey.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During the early access development we want to include Daily Challenge with full Steam stats, fully integrate Steam Workshop for in-game editor and add number of new skirmish maps. Finally we would like to add a Rogue Royal skirmish mode! We would love to hear all the possible feedback and fix all the blind spots!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“11th Dream has all the core-gameplay features ready: It offers replayable hardcore story Campaign with integrated leaderboards and stats, three skirmish modes (Deathmatch, Team War and Horde), full alchemy of character Specs choice, various skirmish maps and our in-game fully scriptable editor.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During the early access the game will keep the lower price tag. After the full release in September we plan to increase the price around 2€-3€ depending on the amount of added content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We would love to invite all players to comment and post suggestions for our game. We want to listen as openly as possible and to build a strong community. We are inviting everybody to join our discord channel, post their custom maps and scenarios, discuss the game, or just ask us anything. We also plan to post series of tutorials for editor workflow; from creation of height maps to scripting.”

11th Dream comes true

Hello!

11 years ago, while going to high school, we started developing a 3D shooter game. We did not knew much back then about how things should be done, we just wired things together until the game ran reasonably. The result was a hardcore game with a short campaign and several skirmish maps. It got published in local games magazine, at the very corner of the DVD the magazine included.



About a year ago, we met and played this past project and decided to do a remake. We realized that there are many pixelart but not so many 3D games resembling 90s or early 00s. Surprisingly, the old code was still running after all those years and so we decided to build on it. No modern engine that would steer us from the pains and fruits of game development in 90s. We even thought of using fixed function pipeline for rendering. But honestly, in the end we've rewritten, remodeled, reanimated and rescripted everything.

We've created a game which you can play while you render your video or wait for another meeting at your job. These are skirmish maps, instant hardcore fun against bots. One fight ends, new begins, press alt+f4 to rage-quit.

At the same time, 11th Dream offers story-driven campaign with dozen of hardcore levels. You, I-bot, are born and given clear orders - all the malfunctioning robots must be eliminated. Preserve the loop in the system. Eventually, you as a player are given a choice to fight the system back and to enforce its restart.

The game also allows you to to create your own maps in the map editor. We are currently working hard on the integration of steam workshop. After all, we would love to see players creating their own tricky levels.
