What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're never perfect. And we believe RE:OZMA can be better by users.
From the early stages of development, we want to complete the game by exchanging feedback with users.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're going to make an official Release a year after the early access.
However, as we are going to developing the game through communication with users, the schedule can be extended depending on the situation.

RE: OZMA is not just a sandbox game. We are pursuing an 'infinitely expandable game' by combining with various game genres on the basic ground genre called sandbox.
"The myriad planets in RE: OZMA can be thought of as different genre planets.
Each planet has its own genre, and you can play the game according to your purpose and taste.
You can move to the game planet and play new games there, or create your own games. And an important point!
The items and character information obtained in the sandbox are organically linked between the planets to influence different genres. "
It also intends to add a variety of new systems (engineering, farming, fishing, etc.) to the sandbox genre, as well as new areas and challenge modes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the early access version, only basic sandbox play is possible.
In the official release, we try to develop a game that is infinitely scalable by converging various genres together on the basic genre of Sandbox.
Our development schedule is as follows.
-Steam early access: Three boss monsters update in the sandbox genre / Adding Steam Interaction Achievements / Add New Genre
-Steam early access +1M: Sandbox New Area 'Aqua World' Update / Add new difficulty mode (Hard mode, barrenness mode) / Add hard mode only item / Add New Genre / Add riders system in the sandbox genre.
-Steam early access +6M: Sandbox New Area 'Cursed Land' Update / Adding sandbox genre Engineering and fishing systems. / Add New Genre (one of the Platform , pvp, battle royals)
-Steam early access +12M: Sandbox New Area 'Blessed Land' Update / Add challenge mode / Add New Genre (one of the Platform , pvp, battle royals)
* The development schedule is an internal schedule and may change depending on the development situation.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the Early Access version, users can play basic 2D sandbox games.
"RE: OZMA's sandbox is" Make everything you imagine possible "".
After entering my planet for the first time, a full-fledged sandbox play begins, which creates your own world."
"It is composed of sandbox terrain and various dungeons implemented through random terrain generation algorithm, so different terrains are procedurally created each time you sell land, providing various kinds of fun."
Users can fight against a monster, collect materials, crack up, and so. Users can make my own terrain and fight with the boss monster and Users can make a house, a blacksmith's, and a laboratory.
Also, Users can refer to NPC as a colleague. The basic play of all these sandboxes can be done from the early access version.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to sell the Early Access version for $14.99. The official release plans to raise the price to $19.99.
Only sandboxes can be played in the early version. However, there will be a variety of additional genres in the official release.
We will also add sandbox content and a variety of systems. We plan to raise the price accordingly.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Communication with users plans to use Steam community hub and our homepage.
It is currently conducting a private beta test and is conducting communication with test users as a steam community hub.
In addition, we announce the game update list from the Steam Community Hub. We are getting feedback from users through announcement.
We are also using the crowdfunding site of our game to communicate with users.

Steam Community Hub: https://steamcommunity.com/app/932690/discussions/
RE:OZMA crowdfunding Site: https://www.wadiz.kr/web/campaign/detail/40870
After the early access launch, we will try to get feedback from various users through more active community activities.

About This Game

RE:OZMA is a 2D Hybrid Sandbox game inspired by exploration, crafting, building games such as Terraria, Starbound, Minecraft. RE:OZMA pursues a more accessible sandbox with fast and exciting action.

-Key Features

  • Play the sandbox dynamically with ACTION!

Collect 22 Different Skills! These skills are as powerful as they are, and should be used by them because they destroy the terrain without constraint. They are powerful skills that can destroy your home, but if you use them well, you can feel more hit-feel.

  • Transform into new shape character!!

When you dig in and collect each body part of dead alien, you can obtain a new skill. After you collect a body set, you can transform into the appearance of that alien character and use a new set effect. You can also collect runes that can strengthen the parts and grow into stronger characters.

  • Play the Sandbox!

You can begin everything here and build your own planet. Each time you dig, real-time terrain changes and random terrain is created. And everything is possible: collecting, housing, building, manufacturing, crafting.

  • Play the unique RE:OZMA!

-Dyeing: Tile can be dyed with a makeable dye potion.
-Housing: When you complete your house and decorate your boss's trophy run, it will have the same effect as I wore the item, which will increase your ability.
-Manufacturing: Each object has its own use depending on its combination. You can use the design you want for a variety of purposes.

  • Enjoy multi-play!
You can basically play single, host, multi-play with up to four people. The full version will provide an online network server for all players to meet so that World Chat will allow players to meet and interact randomly on the planet RE:OZMA.
