“We expect Early Access will last up to 30 months until SCP: 5K's full release. This is subject to change, as we can't predict the future. But, we will do our best to meet the best goal possible.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include the completed Area-12 scenario, a healthier list of gamemodes for community servers to host, and so on.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The first playable version of the Area-12 scenario, a basic PvP mode, and a basic Wave Survival mode. We also have included a few testing levels for various in-development mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Everyone who gets the game during Early Access will get the Supporter Pack for free on the full release!

Base Edition will remain at the current price point foreseeably. Price of the Base Edition itself will only increase if we are to do a community poll, which has to be accepted by the community to proceed, which ensures we absolutely need to have a good reason to do it. Releases on consoles may be subject to different pricing due to increased porting costs with third-party publishers.

We ultimately want to keep the entry bar as reasonable as possible to ensure we can have a long-term thriving playerbase with many people coming in over the coming months and years.
