Etherborn is Now Available to Download

Hello everyone,

So, the moment that we all at Altered Matter both looked forward to and feared has come. We can now proudly say, after all these years, those words that were on our mind from the moment we started work. Ladies and gentlemen, Etherborn is now available to play.

To coincide with the release, we also have a launch trailer - please pass it around your social feed or to anyone who is close to you. It would mean the world to us.

Now, we won’t be too sappy and emotional here, and we won’t take too much of your time either (there is a new game to play - let’s go!!!), but we just want to say a huge thank you to you for your encouragement, love, feedback, and support. Without good people around us, we wouldn’t have been able to do this crazy dream of ours. And if this is the first time you are hearing about us, here is a warm hello to you and I hope that Etherborn piqued your interest :)

And one last parting thought. We’ve made this game for you. So please, let us know what you think of Etherborn. We really do want to hear what your thoughts and impressions are.

Once again, thank you for your support and enjoy the world of Etherborn!

Etherborn Soundtrack Preview

Hello everyone,
With Etherborn’ release fast approaching (it’s coming out this Thursday – wow!), we thought that it might be a good idea to give you a little taste of our soundtrack. Below are three pieces composed by our musician Gabriel Garrido Garcia.
Personally, and I might be a bit biased, but I feel Gabriel made an awesome soundtrack. I hope you feel the same way too. Actually, let me know what you think of it. Would love to hear your comments.

As you may, or may not be aware, Etherborn is coming out this Thursday, July 18th. If you want to keep up to date with us, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or Discord. And if you like what you see, add us to your Wishlist. It would mean the world to us.

About This Game

Etherborn is an elegant leap in the gravity-puzzle genre; an environmental puzzle platformer built on exploring and understanding gravity-shifting structures.

You are a voiceless being that has just been born into a world where a bodiless voice awaits your arrival. As your first thoughts emerge, you realise your journey has just begun. You must reach this ethereal voice to fully understand your own existence.

In this world, the laws of physics behave in a way that will bend your imagination. You experience gravity perpendicular to the surface you are standing on, allowing for creative exploration possibilities in environments carefully crafted as navigation-based puzzles.

Travel through beautiful and exotic sceneries where each level is an organic puzzle that you need to explore, manipulate and shift your gravity on in order to decipher the way forward.

Etherborn features:

  • Gravity-shifting platforming and exploration
  • Navigation based puzzles based on your unique sense of gravity
  • Surreal levels in an atmosphere inspired by artists of the 20th-21st centuries
  • Dynamic and captivating original soundtrack tailored to each level

Etherborn is available in these languages: English (audio and text), Spanish (audio and text), Catalan (audio and text), German (text), French (text), Italian (text), Russian (text), Japanese (text), Simplified Chinese (text), Korean (text).
