What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Brimstone Brawlers is made by one developer (hi), with help from some incredibly patient contractors. Early Access lets me get the game into your hands sooner, while continuing to build out content, balance the chaos, and fix whatever’s currently on fire.
This isn’t just a launch, it’s a brawl in progress. Your feedback shapes the game, whether it's suggesting new abilities, pointing out broken maps, or just yelling about how strong the Vampire is (again).”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As long as it needs to be, but I’m actively working on new brawlers, maps, campaign levels, and online improvements. The more support the game gets, the faster it grows.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include:
  • More brawlers and cosmetics
  • A complete campaign mode
  • Fully functional online play
  • Polish, balance, and more explosive maps

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

  • 10+ brawlers
  • Local and online multiplayer
  • Growing single-player campaign
  • Hazard-packed arenas
  • Cosmetic gear system
  • Occasional bugs (the fun kind, mostly)

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Brimstone Brawlers is currently free during Early Access so more players can jump in, brawl hard, and help shape the game.

A Founders Edition is available for early adopters who want to support development and unlock exclusive perks, including easy access to certain brawlers. When the full version launches, the base game will become a paid title.

If you’re here early, you’re getting in at the best possible time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community’s already helped shape the game through Discord, Twitch, and Steam feedback. I read everything (yes, even that one review). Keep the feedback coming, it helps guide balance changes, content additions and which brawler needs to be nerfed next.”
