What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Ring of Elysium is a multiplayer online battle royale shooter. We need more feedback to create a better polished game. With players joining the game earlier, we can understand our players better and adjust the final version accordingly.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Early Access will last for approximately 3 - 6 months, depending on the development schedule.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version will provide a refined battle royale mode, polished features, and fine-tuned gameplay balance. We will also implement new features including player progression systems, and several casual game modes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build provides one battle royale mode on a snow mountain map. Mode rules and gameplay features are full and operational. Basic systems are fully-featured, including matchmaking, friends, cosmetic item collection and more. Server operation and client stability are in great shape. This build has gone through a closed-beta period with several thousands of participants and overall user experience was proven to be very good.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be permanently free, during and after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will monitor feedback from the community on a daily basis and reply promptly. Players are welcomed to send ideas and suggestions directly to our email We will read them intently and implement good ones in our game.”

An update on our recent Anti-Cheat efforts (4.23.2019)

Dear players,

Lately, with the increased efforts from our security team, the number of cheaters in-game has been significantly reduced, and the game environment has been greatly improved and recovered to a healthy level, let's take a look at the details:

The current state of the game environment
At the beginning of April, we evaluated the game environment by analyzing our various data and found out that there has been an increase in the number of cheaters. For example, the percentage of active accounts that got reported more than 3 times a day has increased to 0.00005%, and the percentage of accounts with a high elimination count steadily increased as well, combined with the feedback from players, we immediately developed a special operation plan, continuously cracked down and banned cheaters, and fixed various security vulnerabilities in our systems. As a result, our security monitoring indicators have been reduced by 50%, effectively protecting the game's fair play environment.

Our recent focus
After some analysis and research, our security team noticed that some "traditional" cheats (such as aimbots and wallhacks) have been transitioning into cheats that focus on recoil control, such as custom mouse macros or automatic recoil control cheats, which is within the scope of cheating because it provides players an enormous unfair advantage and damage the fair play environment, the security team will continue to enforce our zero-tolerance policy on all cheats work on various new Anti-cheat measures.

At the same time, we will put in more dedicated resources to monitor and prioritize reviewing controversial reports (both for suspicious players and suspicious software).

In conclusion
Combating cheaters will always be our long-term, top priority task. That's why we have invested a major amount of professional technicians in protecting the game environment; we will keep updating our Anti-Cheat system, and assure a high-standard, healthy game environment for all players.

As of today, we have banned a total number of 161,771 accounts. We are confident to say that Ring of Elysium is currently the online multiplayer shooter with the lowest cheater-to-player ratio and we are the most aggressive game when it comes to cheater punishment.

We hope that everyone will continue to help us by taking a stand against any type of behavior that harms the game environment, let's work together and make Ring of Elysium a better place!
