Blue eats blue. Red eats red. Until one of each remains. A puzzler that is deceptively simple but hard to master.

PEG Trading Cards

There have been questions regarding trading cards with the game, namely on this forum post. This is but a little heads-up attempting to clear up the confusion.

Long story short, trading cards and related goodies have already been made, but due to the abuse of some users, new confidence metrics have been enforced by Valve, and this game has yet to achieve them.

As you might expect, said metrics remain undisclosed, to avoid being easily surpassed by "fake" developers. (People who had a game that sold 100 copies but had tens of thousands of keys distributed) At least, that is the terminology used by Valve themselves. You can read in full detail on their official post.

Strickly speaking, a game must reach a certain given of sales, reviews, user activity (play hours, posts, etc.), but then again, the condifence metrics remain secret to avoid being exploited.

Meaning that in the case of this game, modest in sales, but lacking in other metrics such as reviews, cards have yet to be enabled. However, please note that the day the green light is given to distribute cards. That same day, all current owners will get them. So if trading cards are the dealbreaker for you, don't worry, the game WILL have them.

About This Game

PEG is a minimalist take to the traditional solitaire game of the same name. The goal of the game is to leave two pieces on the board (one of each color) by following the rule: "Blue eats blue, red eats red." A puzzler that is deceptively simple but hard to master.

Moving pegs. Removing pegs. These two simple mechanics allow for an incredible amount of possible strategies to aim for the each puzzle's solution. Future planning. Piece set-up. These equally simple skills will be gradually honed to tackle the hardest puzzles.

  • Over a hundred hand-made levels, divided into several specially crafted boards.
  • Daily auto-generated levels for a never ending experience.
  • A color palette friendly for people with deuteranopia and similar visual complications.
  • Several selections of zen music to fully immerse into relaxation.
  • In-game options that allow gameplay speed tweaking, suitable for different play styles.
  • Fully wordless UI for accessibility that ignores language and age barriers.
  • A simple, yet addictingly complex gameplay for everyone to enjoy.
  • Pegs.

Once again, thank you very much to everyone that gave their feedback and support that led to this project's creation. And of course, a special shout-out to YOU for taking your time to view PEG.
