Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have a very clear path laid out for the Early Access stage of Gun Club VR, which you can see detailed below. That said, while we’re able to schedule this fairly accurately, we also want to allow additional time for the implementation of community feedback & ideas. With this in mind, we’re striving to have a game that the community loves filled with all of the content planned for 1.0 by end of Q2 2018.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Here’s what we have planned for development during the Early Access phase of Gun Club VR.

Bringing the historic theatre of World War II right into the Gun Club VR experience, the Allied range will include an all new environment hosting dozens of new events and activities to progress through. We’ll also be adding era-specific weaponry which will be accurate & fully operational just like every other weapon in Gun Club VR.

While we’re supporting various Pistols, Shotguns, SMGs and Assault Rifles right out of the gate, Sniper Rifles are an obvious omission. The existing ranges just don’t do Snipers justice, so we’re working hard to develop a fun and engaging sniper experience that we’ll be introducing during the Early Access phase.

Currently the game has a solid structure and progression path so you won’t we wanting for things to do. Sometimes, however, you’re just going to want to pick up a gun and mess around. And that's where the sandbox ranges come in. No limits, no rules; just grab one of your guns and start blowing stuff up. Be it cars, bikes or barrels, there’ll be plenty of fun stuff to shoot at in these fully reactive sandbox environments.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We have a solid core game that runs well and is (relatively) bug free.
Choose a weapon and head to the Warehouse Range to take out the Hostile Targets and rescue the Hostages. You'll need to fully operate your weapon, firing, charging, reloading and modifying it to gain a better advantage. Be warned, some targets fire back so you'll need to take cover.

Complete hundreds of varied Tactical Events in the Pistol, SMG, Shotgun and Assault Rifle Ladders, and move through challenging set pieces in the Action Ladder. Survive the horde in the Zombie Events and complete the Sideshow challenges before the time runs out.

Aside from the content mentioned above, we’re also working on weapon interactions, ballistics & the attachment system. These factors are crucial to making a realistic and engaging sim, and will be constantly refined and improved upon, especially with the community’s feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We’re really striving to make Gun Club VR excellent value. For those joining us on this Early Access journey, we truly appreciate your feedback & trust in us to deliver the best Gun Club VR experience possible, so the current price reflects that appreciation. Upon completion of the 1.0 launch, there will be a price increase for non-Early Access players. We feel the game will represent excellent value for money at the new price point.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As we add more content, we’ll be listening closely to the community’s feedback on which specific weapons or features they most want to see added.. We're almost there! Early Access Update #5

Welcome to Gun Club VR’s biggest update yet! We’re super excited to announce that this update will prepare us for launch from Early Access. Read on to see what’s been added!

This abandoned missile silo has no limits, no rules; just grab any gun and start blowing stuff up. Select from a variety of destructible items (more being added regularly) to spawn and setup your very own scenario. Blow up walls, explode barrels, attach rockets to bits of rope or even spawn a concrete T-rex, just because you can. Let your imagination run wild with this no-holds-barred playpen.

Manual attachment system
Gain total control of your weapon’s rig by manually attaching rails, scopes, grips, flashlights - you name it. Intuitively navigate the upgrade menu (or sandbox’s) attachment library and mix and match to find the ultimate setup. For those of you that prefer a more hands off approach, auto-attach is still an option.

Sniper events
The Allied Range introduces an all new sniper mode for those with rifles. Snap on a scope and challenge your marksman skills in these dextrous sniper events - can you ensure the safety of the VIP?

Spray can livery system
Give your guns a personal touch with splash of paint. Nothing says ‘come at me bro’ like a yellow indifferent emoji sprayed on your Glock. Select from multiple brush types, stencils and colours or import your own images to make your collection truly unique.

“Oh the grind!” (Money balance adjustment)
Thought earning money was too much of a grind? We heard you loud and clear and have rebalanced events to be more generous with cash rewards. “Yay!” That’s right Timmy, you’ll be fleshing out your arsenal in no time. And for those who already endured the grind, you’ll be retroactively awarded with what you would have earned had this new system been in place when you started. Look for the fat stack of cash on the gun case in the lobby!

User profiles
Sick of fighting over your Gun Club VR progress with your loved ones? Or perhaps you’re trying to run a reputable VR Arcade and are fed up with deleting config files? Well boy do we have the solution for you - multiple user profiles! Whether you want to start a fresh game and experience all the (new) magic that Gun Club VR has to offer or perhaps spec out in a different direction entirely, multiple user profiles have got your back with 4 slots of discreet storage action.

Weapon profiles
With all of your fancy spray-painted & decked out guns you’ll be wanting some way to store them. Luckily, we thought of that too. Each gun now has up to four unique profiles so you can have that perfect configuration ready to go at the press of a button.

More action ranges
Ostentatiously called advanced “Action 2” ranges, these events step things up a notch from their “Action 1” brethren. You’ll now be weaving inside buildings, running up stairs, peering out windows and warping through back allies as you lay waste to any and all plywood that dares stand in your way.

  • Players can now use the trigger buttons to pull slides without accidently gripping the weapons
