Realm Quest was a free online role-playing game designed by and built for the players. If you're curious more about what the game was like it's all over on the website.

I took a hiatus from all social media and developing the game after losing the job I had and catching my partner at the time cheating on me. After that most of my friends stopped hanging out and talking with me over the following years. By the time Covid hit, I didn't really have anyone left to talk to or do anything with.

After a few months of being locked inside with no one to talk to I ended up putting together a free online chat site where anyone could meet random people with similar interests. It ended up getting much more popular than I thought it would, and ended up having a lot of fun socializing with the users, getting their feedback, adding features they would suggest, it was nice.

The only annoying part of the app was dealing with bots, scammers, hackers, all sorts of annoying, toxic, user activity. Having to go through and review user reports was mostly just repetitive. Some losers would cry on social media and call me racist, bigoted, or whatever because they got banned and I didn't really care.

At least, I didn't care until one of them started impersonating me and spamming adult websites with links to the game, posting my contact information on social media, harassing people in the community. Dealing with crazy and mentally unstable is part of life, but somehow my stalker has managed to piss people off and convince people they're me that it's become annoying dealing with it on a regular basis.

I've tried to keep this creep away from the games community but between them making new accounts and spamming my information online it's become the only thing people ask me about. It became depressing whenever I would get a notification that someone joined one of the social media groups online because I knew that they weren't going to be interested in anything I was doing or working on.

I'm really sorry, the games a passion of mine and I would love to work on it more but mental health is far more important than a random video game only I care about.
