Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current target for final release is during the first half of 2022, however this may change during development. Our target for final release date has changed several times during development as the scope of the game has increased. The feedback from players has been fantastic and we have aimed to add improvements to the game as requested by players (most notably, we invested significant development time into adding online co-op, as we had received overwhelming amounts of requests from players for this feature).”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have 50 levels in the co-op story mode. New multiplayer game-modes, mechanics, and levels will be added over time. Online co-op has been added in the V0.8 update (released Easter 2019), and Online Party Mode (4 players online) has been added in the V0.9 update (released September 2021).”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of the game contains a story mode for up to 2 players (local or online) with 40 levels, spread across 4 different worlds (forest, snow, cave, beach). The final version will contain 50 levels. Each world has a mix of unique mechanics and challenges. There are also coins that can be unlocked on each level by completing the level, by finding a hidden carrot, and beating a time attack ghost.

The game also has a Party Mode - multiplayer PvP modes for up to 4 players (local or online), including Deathmatch, Basketball, and Carrot Grab. We are currently experimenting with new multiplayer levels and game modes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase gradually as more content is put into the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Via Steam community forums, we would like to hear your feedback! If there is something you really like, or something you think could be better, or even something you just really hate, please let us know!”
