Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are planning the Early Access phase to last for two to three years, to give us enough time to implement the core mechanics. However, depending on how quick the community grows, we might have to extend the Early Access period to allow for the implementation of features suggested by the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim for the full version to reflect exactly what players expect from an immersive survival game. The full version will contain all features developed during Early Access plus a plethora of new features. To name a few:

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes all core mechanics and features needed for the player to enjoy a relaxed sandbox survival game-play. We worked hard to deliver a great experience from day one and although the game is enjoyable already, we are constantly developing new features based on player feedback and suggestions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Our way of saying “Thank you!” to the early and very patient supporters is by offering the game at a discounted price. The price of Escape the Pacific will increase slightly as the game gets closer to its release date.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are proud to say that the community was involved from day one in the development process of the game. The community around Escape the Pacific is thriving on Discord where we talk to players daily, ask for feedback, discuss suggestions and run voting polls for everyone to vote for future features. The help from the community is essential for us to achieve our goals and to make a better, more stable game with less bugs. . The more players vote on a certain feature, the higher the probability for us to change course and implement the requested feature first. Good things take time and while game development is fun, miracles don’t happen overnight.”
