What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to give the community an opportunity to influence the development of the INTERSTELLAR PRIME gameplay experience. The sales volume of the Early Access will also determine the overall content of the final product since we are a small indie developer”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our working estimate is 18-24 months from the public rebuild update. This is an estimate, not a fixed release date. The game will leave Early Access only after the core campaign, controls, performance, onboarding, and planned tactical systems are complete and stable.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include a complete story campaign centered on Silas and Remnant City; expanded districts, missions, and characters; polished first- and third-person controls; refined combat; the Overlord tactical-command system; additional zero-gravity sequences; expanded audio and cinematic presentation; and broader controller, accessibility, performance, and quality-of-life support. Scope may change based on what tests well.

The older store page described larger sandbox, base-building, fighter, and fleet systems. Those descriptions should not be treated as current commitments. Only features listed in current announcements and present in playable builds should be expected.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current public build contains approximately 30-45 minutes of story content. It begins with a short zero-gravity mining sequence and continues with a first-/third-person ground mission in Remnant City. The build is incomplete and may contain rough controls, bugs, unfinished presentation, and limited content. The tactical-command system and expanded campaign are not part of the current public build unless specifically stated in a new build announcement.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Early Access price will remain unchanged during the initial rebuild period. We plan to raise the price as substantial new content and features are released and the game approaches full release. Existing owners will receive normal game updates without repurchasing the base game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use Steam announcements, patch notes, and the discussion forum to explain what changed, what is currently playable, and what comes next. Feedback on crashes, controls, onboarding, performance, and mission clarity will be prioritized. We will avoid publishing fixed feature dates until those features are close to release.”

About This Game

A machine outpost and spider-like combat drone on a rocky Martian battlefield, with Mars and an asteroid field overhead. Work-in-progress Unity 6 gameplay.

HUMANITY'S FUTURE WAS BUILT BY MACHINES.

Humanity's largest Martian colony survives inside the shattered remains of Phobos and Deimos. Automated systems keep Remnant City alive — but something beneath its infrastructure is beginning to move beyond human control.

You are Silas Lane, a Robocor technician whose routine assignment exposes a conspiracy surrounding artificial intelligence, hidden interests, and humanity's place in a post-singularity solar system.

ONE SCI-FI WAR. MULTIPLE SCALES.

INTERSTELLAR PRIME combines story-driven role-playing, first- and third-person action, zero-gravity operations, spacecraft gameplay, and real-time strategy. Move from the streets and industrial depths of Remnant City to battles unfolding around Mars — then step into command as the conflict grows beyond one soldier.

Silas Lane overlooks a neon-lit pedestrian district inside Remnant City in the current public Early Access build.

ENTER REMNANT CITY

Explore the colony, speak with its residents, investigate its systems, and follow a focused story through a society that depends on machines it no longer fully understands.

WORK BEYOND GRAVITY

Begin with an asteroid-mining operation outside Mars. Learn to move and work in zero gravity before entering the human world hidden within Remnant City.

Hostile machine structures surround a central mechanical threat on the Martian surface. Work-in-progress Unity 6 gameplay.

FACE THE MACHINE THREAT

What begins as a technician's assignment grows into a conflict with autonomous machines, hidden interests, and consequences that reach far beyond the colony.

Human infantry and machines fight around a large armored vehicle on the Martian surface, shown through the RTS command interface. Work-in-progress Unity 6 gameplay.

COMMAND THE BATTLEFIELD — IN DEVELOPMENT

The Unity 6 rebuild is bringing the long-awaited RTS mode into the core experience, expanding the conflict from personal combat to battlefield command.

The two battlefield images above are work-in-progress footage from the Unity 6 development build. UI, visual effects, unit balance, performance, and content may change. The RTS rebuild is not yet part of the downloadable public Early Access build.

CURRENT EARLY ACCESS BUILD

The current public build contains the opening 30–45 minute chapter: a zero-gravity mining sequence followed by a ground mission in Remnant City. It remains an incomplete work in progress and does not yet represent the scope or polish planned for the rebuilt version.
