“The full version will have more episodes, more levels and more challenges and new object behaviors.
The full version will have additional cutscenes for each new episode.
The full version will have more visual polish and special FX.
The full version will have an easier to use editor.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version has Episode 1: The birth of SUSAN, and Episode 2: Cryptofutures.
The current version has an editor in an ALPHA state, which was used to create the current levels, but is missing certain features to make level editing as efficient as possible.
The current version has limited level sharing ability. You can share individual levels but not entire user-created episodes or cutscenes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The full game will probably be a slightly higher price that the current price, but since this is CHEAP GOLF, not by much.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will listen to their pleas in the forums and on social media, where I live. I will integrate the most popular and sensible editor and level requests into the game. I am always online and I never sleep.”

Camera Hotfix - Version 1.0.4 Live

We just uploaded a new version (1.0.4) that addresses zooming/camera issues in 1.0.3 when dragging the flinger outside of the play area. It should work much smoother now.

-Episode 2: Cryptofutures Is Out Now-

Hello All,

We just released Episode 2! It should be in your current version of the game (1.0.3). We also made the following updates:

- Camera zooms out a little smoother
- Episode 1 levels got a few changes (mostly difficulty tweaks)
- Slight improvements to the editor, but it still has a ways to go
- Slo-mo threshold was reduced, so you should see it more (slo-mo is enabled when you fling a ball while it's still moving)

We also added 2 new leaderboards (for Ep. 1 + 2) and one new achievement.

We also promise it will not take a whole extra year for Episode 3 (and full release) to arrive. We are well underway on that - current estimation is about 2-3 months.

About This Game

Hello, my name is SUSAN. and I am the host of CHEAP GOLF. Here are some things you should know about this game:

- It is retromodern low-poly minigolf. You will fling a boop into the goal many times and I will talk to you between levels.

- There are many colors and sounds to tickle your eyes and ears. You will also use your hand quite a bit.

- The game currently includes 2 episodes with over 100 levels of boop flinging.

- You can make your own levels and cutscenes with the editor.

- I will be monitoring trillions of your nanogestures and modeling them into FEEL-THINKS, my favorite snack.

The game is currently in Early Access, more levels and editor features are coming soon. It is very playable and fun right now though, you should definitely try it.
