Why Early Access?

“Early Access gives an opportunity communicate with players and also receive their feedbacks about all features of the game. It is really pleasant to read players' feedbacks and they inspire me to move forward and develop the game. Other reason for an Early Access is about 4-players, as sometimes it is difficult to gather them together for long testing of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I am not sure how long it will take to develop it and release the version 1.0 of the game, So, I think 1 year will be enough to reach this point.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will contain complete storyline,more craft recipes, new dungeons and traps. Also there will be new bosses and monsters. I also plan to improve game in other different issues that will bring more pleasure for players during the game.”

About This Game

Description

Lift the curse. Set them free… even angels failed to escape the dungeons of King Tarrius. Dive into a dark Looter Slasher adventure in third-person view, where you must carve your way through enemies in tense souls-like combat. You are a homunculus slave who managed to escape the mines and find yourself in the catacombs of King Tarrius’ ancient crypt. The curse of this place traps the souls of all who enter. But there is one exception.

Created through magic and alchemy, you are not bound by the curse in the same way. It cannot turn you into one of the undead. That is why only you have a chance to break the ancient curse.

Features:

Looter Slasher

Here, survival depends on skill and risk. Grow stronger through souls-like combat mastery and by hunting for powerful gear. Attack, dodge, block — balance decides everything. A better item can drop at any moment… or you can improve the one you already have. Items can be enchanted with magical properties and enhanced by socketing gems to gain additional effects such as fire damage or poison resistance.

Three Curses of the Crypt

The deeper you descend, the higher the stakes. Death costs you all the loot you have found. On the final level, you will also lose all the experience you gained. Will you risk going further… or retreat while you still can?

Roguelike Dungeon

To reach the boss, you must survive a chain of dangerous trials in dark dungeons. Your progress depends on dice rolls — choose the outcome and face the challenge. Behind every door awaits either valuable loot… or a fatal mistake.

Splitscreen Co-op

Play solo or join forces with friends in co-op mode for up to 4 players. Each player has their own loot, gold, and character progression.

Part of the No King No Kingdom Universe

The events of Trapped Souls take place nearly a thousand years after No King No Kingdom. You will encounter characters, references, and echoes of that era.
