OUTWIT THE INTERLOPERS

Howdy, pardner. Welcome to The Gulch, a magical stream that never runs dry and keeps all the critters of the desert from dryin' out, includin' us lizards.

Scouts report that there's some sorta faceless army headin' this way. Heh, no surprise there. There's always someone lookin' to take our land, and we've always managed to turn 'em away somehow or other.

I won't lie to you, amigo. We're outnumbered and outgunned, and we're lizards.

But we're smarter and craftier and above all, more adaptable. Some of us are cactus fanatics who refuse to move for any reason. Others're hotel managers, trekkin' back in from the big city to do their bit. We've got vigilantes, bodybuilders, gunslingers, lawyers... you name it.

And we're all pullin' together to send these interlopers packin'. Could you lend us a hand, pardner?

COMPLEX, TURN-BASED AUTOBATTLES

You and your opponents take turns bonkin', healin', feedin', or doing nothin', until one side is outta characters.

Each ability is simple. Put 'em together, and figurin' out which way a battle's gonna go is no walk in the park. Unexpected defeats and surprising victories await.

But don't despair! It ain't random, just complex. You can figure out the result before the fight even starts. And fIgurin' how it's gonna shake out is a real good idea...

DECKBUILDIN' TURNS THE TIDE

Before each fight, you've got a chance to play a few cards. Their effects range from minor to game-breaking.

But the best card to play ain't always the strongest. If you know how the fight's gonna go, you can turn the tide by playing the right card at the right time on the right fella. And the right fella might not always be one o' yours...

PROMOTE YER VARMINTS

Promote yer varmints into over 50 different truly unique jobs, each with their own special ability sets and cards. You'll be dealin' with a new team on every go-round.

POSSE UP

Build up a big reserve of varmints, and send 'em off to battle in synergistic teams. Don't forget to let 'em rest every once in a while!
