What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“TLDR: DieQuest is near-content-complete in Early Access. EA is for balance, content-completion and expansion, art polish, and bug-fixing.

DieQuest will release in a fully playable Early Access state, with lots of content planned for the release in game already.

But we want DieQuest to be the best it can with your help.
Fun, content-rich, beautiful and bug-free.
Your feedback will shape balance, and help catch any stray bugs we didn't catch with a smaller audience.

The Early Access period allows us to add highly requested features before the full release: specific game options, new build options and enemies, and possibly new game modes!

On the Art side, we'll expand the unique dioramas in the game, polish VFX, and add more enemy soundtracks.

We also plan additional translations, depending on what languages are requested most.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Around 3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More dice, cups, power dice and heroes.
More music tracks.
More dioramas.
Refined narrative. We have great ambitions for the world we're creating. DieQuest is just the start.
Polish graphics, dioramas, VFX.

Depending on your feedback, we may develop the most requested additions to the game, like new game modes, dice, heroes...

More translations.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Great!
All all of the features in the "About This" store section are in the game. We'll keep the section up to date with what's currently in-game.

That's plenty of content already.
200+ unique dice, 10 heroes, 40+ cup emblems, 50+ power dice, 60+ unique enemies.

We try our best to keep every release bug-free since early playtest days.

Great performance.
We target Steam Deck at ~8W @60FPS, so most PCs should have no problem, and still get a beautiful looking experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We'll increase price slightly for the final release.
Early Access is a way for our earliest fans to benefit from being the first to support us.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We host a live State Of The Studio on our Discord monthly to discuss the now and the future, with plenty of Q&A time.

Join our Discord, talk with us on socials, and post in the Steam discussion forums. We see everything 👀”

About This Game

DieQuest is the autobattling dice roguelike where every roll matters.

  • Pick your hero, start the climb. Ten fights, two lives.

  • Grab your starting dice. Unlock more options every run.

  • Face one of the 60+ enemies.

  • Choose your dice composition and roll. Physics decide your fate, but that's just the start. Dice passive and abilities can turn a bad roll into the winning throw.

  • Win the fight. Prepare for the next battle at the Shop, and evolve your dice at the Anvil.

  • Will you play it safe, or bank your gold for greater rewards?

  • 200+ dice across 7 families. Start with basic units and evolve them at the Anvil to unlock their full potential. Craft your perfect dicebox. That's billions of combos.

  • 50+ power dice. Bend luck to your will with their powerful and visually stunning effects.

  • 40+ cup emblems. Slot these rare relics into your rings to combine their effects for the throws.

  • 10 unlockable heroes, each with their signature dice and abilities.

Who is the Mage?

What does he want?

Why are you here?

Uncover a lore-rich narrative as you progress through the ever-changing wings of the Mage's Tower.

Fight across tabletop dioramas where battles come to life, in a 3D artstyle you've never seen before.

Please do touch and fiddle with everything.

Roll to the beats of the original Dungeon Bass soundtrack, with 20+ tracks that react to your gameplay.

Masterfully composed by Michael Hensley (ManaDrip).
