About This Game

Welcome to Darts Player Simulator!

I am finally pleased to welcome you to the Steam page for Darts Player Simulator, a long time coming but wishlists are now open, I'm a solo dev building a game around a wonderful growing community and can't wait for you to finally play the game on PC.

From the pub to the Palace

Start with nothing but a set of darts and a place on the pub circuit. Win enough to earn a Tour Card, climb the Pro Circuit and the Order of Merit, and fight your way onto the televised Continental Series and the majors. Every season has a full calendar: floor events, TV weekends abroad, qualifiers, the Nations Cup and a World Championship. Or skip the long road with a scenario start: The Wonderkid, Last Chance Saloon or The Champion's Slide.

Create your player

Build your player in 3D before the first dart is thrown. Start from a quick-start head or shape everything yourself: face, eyes, skin tone and age, dozens of hairstyles and beards, build and height. Then pick your walk-on look, from the darts shirt to trousers, shoes and accessories. Check it under pub, floor and TV lighting, from a close-up to the oche. The player you make walks on and throws on the match stage, and your career portrait is rendered from them.

Every dart is simulated or thrown

Matches are played dart by dart on a 3D board, with a throw model built around your player's skills, form, nerves and kit. Play your own matches and aim every visit, throw your own bull-up, watch the key moments as highlights, or simulate straight to the result. Multi-day events play out day by day, and you can follow any televised event live in the Event Centre, round by round, with a televised draw for the majors. Or take control and decide where your player throws using several different throwing modes, all affected by your players current abilities.

Train like a pro

Plan your week: a basic block that sharpens the fundamentals, or an advanced plan built from eight real practice games, from Around the Clock and Bob's 27 to Shanghai, 121 and Halve It. Simulate them or play them yourself for a bigger boost. Each one builds a different part of your game.

A career off the oche

Sponsors and money: sign deals, hit their targets and watch the books. Entry fees, travel, hotels, staff wages, tax and prize money all add up.

The press: post-match interviews and press conferences before the majors, where how you answer changes your confidence, followers, public image and rivalries. The papers remember what you said.

Stories: decisions land in your inbox all season long, from off-season training blocks to rival grudges.

Your team: coaches, a physio, a practice partner, an agent. Manage your workload, or burn out.

Made to measure

Design your stage shirt in the kit designer and see it on your own player in 3D, front and back: the cut, collar and trim, the pattern, the colours, your name or nickname across the back, and the fabric, which affects how you play. Design your own darts in the workshop too, from barrel to grip, weight and flights, then test the prototype and launch your own signature range.

Every format in the sport

Straight knockouts, group stages, sets and legs, a weekly TV league with knockout nights and play-offs, rolling-entry opens where the seeds join later, qualifiers, a Women's Tour, a Junior World Championship, a Veterans Tour, and the Nations Cup with 40 teams.

A world that keeps score

Around 600 players rise, slump, switch darts, sign with sponsors and retire. Rivalries build from matches and from words. Each season ends with an awards night and a review of your year and the world's. Collect signed title cards, set records, and build a legacy worthy of the Hall of Fame.

Built to be modded

Everything in the game is data: players, tours, events, venues, sponsors, kit, commentary, interview questions and stories. Make your own with the in-game Mod Studio, import a mod from a zip, or write scripts for new stories, panels and rules.

Licensing

This is an indie game, developed by one developer. Because of this the game is unlicensed as does not feature real world sponsors, players or event names, unless licensed and specified in release notes and via our social channels.
