About This Game

Survive the road north.

The Last Expedition is a first-person survival horror game for 1-4 players. Five years ago, in the spring of 1931, the towns stopped answering. No war. No warning. Whole towns went quiet, and some of the people in them came back changed.

The countryside is still beautiful. Grass grows in the crown of the road. Farms stand empty, their gates still open. And something waits in every silent house.

One machine. Four people. One cargo.

You and up to three friends crew the last working land crawler of a guarded government enclave: a converted industrial giant that is your home, your workshop and your only shelter on the road.

In its hold, sedated in a glass tank, lies the first living Alpha anyone has ever captured. Your orders: carry it north, to a research station in the far mountains. Keep it alive. Keep yourselves alive.

Every expedition before you came back with nothing, or didn't come back at all.

Features

• Survival on the move. Fuel, food, water, ammunition and bandages run low. Scavenge abandoned towns, farmsteads and fuel stations for what keeps the crew and the crawler going.
  
• Keep the machine alive. Mend the engine, refuel by hand, fit salvaged parts and cook in the galley. If the crawler stops, you die out here.
  
• Noise is the enemy. The engine, the guns, the horn and every stop draw the infected. Run dark through the night, or barricade the hull and fight until dawn.
  
• Horror in the quiet. The changed, still in their Sunday clothes. Things that climb. Things that call. And on rare roads, something so large the only answer is to keep driving.
  
• No one left behind. Fall in a fight and you bleed out unless the crew gets to you in time. Lose everyone and the road starts again from your last stop.
  
• A crawler you live in. Walk its decks, drive from a cab with panoramic windows, work levers, valves and gauges. Analog 1936 machinery: no screens, no holograms.
  
• Solo or co-op for 1-4. Play alone or with friends online, with proximity voice.
