About This Game

DURMIENTES del Río Negro is an action and exploration game set in places that actually exist: the Viedma waterfront, the old railway bridge over the Río Negro, the sea-lion caves of Punta Bermeja in Argentine Patagonia. Each chapter is one night at a turning point in the region's history, and each night the river wakes those it took.

A guardian for every place

In each town, the spirit of a figure from its history returns, with its own way of fighting. In the Viedma and Patagones region, the first to return is its founder.

Each vigil lasts 15 to 20 minutes, and what you build in one era changes what you find in the next.

Developed in Viedma by Arthemis Games, with locations rebuilt from plans, period photographs and surveys of the real sites.

First stage: Viedma and its coast. The next ones travel across the rest of the province, each with its own guardian.

Some of this game's content was created with the help of generative AI tools and then selected, edited and integrated by our team: the logo, emblem, key art and store images; character portraits, some illustrations and textures; some 3D character and prop models (generated from our own concept images, then cleaned up and rigged in Blender); the Spanish voice lines (AI text-to-speech performing scripts written by our team); and drafts of the English and Portuguese translations. The music and sound effects are generated by our own code, without generative AI. The game does not generate any AI content while you play.
